- The apartment is one of two ground-level apartments in a two story structure where the owners live on the upper floor. Built on wood means you will hear every single step from the upper floor as a loud bang from any individual that walks around. Just as clear you will hear any word in a local or remote (phone) conversation. Sound-proofing is simply non-existent. - It's expensive. You will find houses with a larger space both to the east (like in La Paloma) or to the west (like in Punta Colorada, Piriapolis) for less than half the price per night as in this location. Jose Ignacio is quite well known for that. If you want to visit the lagoons, then you have simply no other choice than to pay up. If that is not your main goal, you have cheaper options on both sides of Jose Ignacio. The extra pay here does not provide something extra-ordinary in terms of your living experience. - Loud dogs barking as soon as it becomes dark outside. Many of these dogs belong to other properties, but they will still ruin your sleep! - Absolutely no space to the sides to the neighbors. On both sides you have less than 10 meters to windows on properties outside of where your are living. If you want privacy, your blinders need to be closed at all times. As this is not a detached property you will not get the privacy you expect when you originally read the property description.
