Comfortable Well Designed Apartment Most Central

A perfectly located property next to the ramblas, but still quiet. Very convenient.

We stayed in Barcelona for 4 days before a 7 day cruise. Place was very clean, owner was supper accommodating letting our party drop off our bags before check-in so we could explore the city without our luggage. Apartment was being cleaned and we had a 10am flight arrival. Owner kept in great contact with us texting us couple days before, while in transit, meeting us early, and giving us some suggested places to eat and go during our stay. Couldn’t be happier with our accommodations. Traveling with a couple and 3 single people the 4 rooms worked out perfect. For a couple of day stay in Barcelona this is the perfect location to get around and see the city. The street the apartment is located on is closed to public car traffic but open for commercial traffic like taxis and delivery vendors for the businesses. The street is busy with foot traffic, nothing like the city center but lots of people going to work and such. There was the partying crowd passing thru after the bars closed down. A few minutes of really happy people going home. Nobody in our group found it to be disturbing. Washer and dryer in apartment are a bonus! We shouldn’t have packed as much....We all wish we could have stayed there after the cruise but they were booked. Would stay there again and highly recommend this apartment!

We are a family of 5 with “kids” ages 15 thru 22 yo. This location was awesome, so easy to get to everything and very comfortable. The property manager Dave was very helpful.

The property was nice and the property manager lacking.. In addition, there was only one (1) cabinet/closet for hanging clothes. There were no hooks or towel racks in the bathrooms. In addition, the mattress in the main room is hard and a bit uncomfortable. I would have rated the apartment higher if it wasn't for the property manager. When we arrived the apartment wasn't ready and we had to spend two (2) nights in a different apartment. The property manager had us waiting in the street for a half hour because he didn't respond to my notifications, text messages, or calls that we were on our way from the airport. Even after we were able to move from our temporary lodging to the apartment that I rented and paid for the property manager still wanted us to allow contractors into the unit when we were out. The property manager didn't necessarily care about our privacy and was more concerned with his getting to a show on time than the hospitality. Again, I cannot state it any clearer - the property manager, David, needs improvement, but the property itself is ideally located and if you don't need a closet or comfortable mattress this place it perfect.
