Arrels Hotel Cadaques - Adults Only

An incredible view overlooking Cadaqués. The property is family-run, beautifully maintained, clean, calm and peaceful. Even in the middle of summer, it was wonderfully relaxing. There are plenty of places to sit and unwind, surrounded by olive trees and grapevines, as well as a clean and inviting pool. The staff are attentive and always available to help, whether with snacks and drinks or recommendations for places to visit locally. The accommodation is beautiful, with units offering either shared or private balconies, all with lovely views. It really does feel like a peaceful oasis above Cadaqués.

If you like to walk from the hotel into town, and back, you must be aware the path is steep with many stairs. It was fine for me - I liked the excercise - but it would not be good for someone with mobility issues. I think the hotel also offers dinner on the weekend, I would have liked to know more about this at check-in before I made other reservations.

This hotel exceeded our expectation! The staff was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. We loved the view from our hotel of Cadaques. The room was very roomy and nice.

The only complaint we had was the AC unit was not adjustable as far as changing the temperature. We were a little warm both nights we would have liked to lower the temperature.

This family run hotel in Cadaqués is lovely, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the facilities are nice and the food is delicious. The breakfast completo is a must - homemade pastries and I recommend the chorizo omelette. At night the gildas and wine are perfect.
