This is our 2nd stay. Love the natural environment and after hours access to site. The lodge is great for family and friends get together. Fire pit and bbq although too wet to use this trip. Road is sealed all of the way.
There isn’t a coffee machine but we took our own.

Few cabins, so even if all were occupied, you still have the entire grounds to yourselves. Very organized, a fantastic place to stay!

A fairly unique place to stay in the forest of the Huon Valley, 28km from the nearest town. One cabin and one larger lodge but when we stayed the lodge wasn’t booked. At 4pm, when the airwalk closed, all the staff left and it was just the two of us alone in the park until the staff came back next morning. Absolute peace. Loved the fire pit and ate outside beside it both nights. Took advantage of after hours access to the sky walk and other trails and walked them all, some of them twice. The skywalk in the early morning with the mist still on the Huon River was very special. We also enjoyed the guided walk on the Huon Pine trail. Wifi in the cabin was good but no phone reception anywhere. Did feel a bit vulnerable when we met a tiger snake out on one of our after hours walks and thought about how far away the nearest help was, but overall we loved the peace of being in the forest. Cafe sells food but once they close it’s 28km along a gravel road to Geeveston so be sure to take supplies with you. Kitchen is well fitted out with oven, cooktop, microwave and full sized fridge.
