Fernando is an awesome guest, very quick contact and very helpful and responsive, thanks again! The apartment itself was good, specially as we reserved it last minute. The apartment is a bit older, so expect some wear, but overall comfortable and the area is mostly quiet. Located very close to supermarket and fast food and restaurants as well. The beds were ok comfort wise. The location is safe, has a very good clean pool (pool even has a restaurant/bar which is super convenient :). It has a clothes washer what is a good feature too if you are staying about a week like us. Great shower temperature and water pressure too. Easy parking available as well! Walking to old town was not far and felt very safe too, about 16 minutes walk. There is good walking access to Praia do Tunel/Peneco or Praia dos Pescadores, about 20 minutes walking as well.

The place is a bit older, so some small updates could make it even more attractive. There are some water or moisture marks on a few areas the wall, but no signs of mold, what is great. The AC system worked, but was struggling in the beginning, also some water was dripping inside. I saw the drain plug outside goes to a water container which was full. After dumping the water no dripping issues, so that was probably causing water to run back to the system and drip. Maybe a good idea to setup a longer hose so it drips off the balcony. I cleaned up the AC outside which was covered in some thicker dust. That made a huge difference! I recommend doing a clean up on the system or ate least vacuum the AC fins outside as it will be more effective and save more electricity too. A couple small things we would have liked is if the apartment had a few toilet paper rolls; there was only one used roll about 1/3 left. we bought a big pack and left at the apartment. Also no extra trash bags (maybe add a few trash bags in the wash closet or under the trash can). Perhaps add a paper roll on the kitchen as well, and a small container of laundry detergent. Not a big deal, but those are inexpensive and easy things that can make a stay much more pleasant.

Posizione eccellente appartamento un po’ datato ma grande con tutto il necessario non mancava nulla.letti abbastanza comodi e terrazzo verso piscina. Bagno grande e spazioso. Lenzuola pulite e fornito di asciugamani grandi e da viso. 10 minuti dal centro a piedi e negozi bar Mc parrucchiere pasticceria a due minuti a piedi. Si entra nel portone principale e nell’ appartamento tramite codici che ti vengono assegnati il giorno dell arrivo Consigliato!

In the 10 days that I spent there I killed 4 cockroaches, I had bread on the kitchen bench and it was invaded by hundreds of ants. There were ants also in the bathroom. I found this disappointing. Otherwise the stay was ok.
