Very friendly host, comfortable Black Forest accommodation, lovely view, great Wi-Fi internet

The host, Eva, was very friendly and welcoming. She spoke good English and was very helpful and accommodating. The (upstairs) apartment was cozy and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teens. The heating was on when we arrived, which was nice given the outside temperatures! The internet is great for streaming videos (just ask for the password as it's not in the apartment). We were very comfortable here and the view from the apartment into the valley below was beautiful!

The water pressure is very low but the shower was hot so we could overlook this. Also, there are no paper towels or dish sponges in the kitchen. There is a dishwasher however. Be aware, the property is up a short but steep incline and in bad weather you may have trouble without 4-wheel drive or snow tires.

Sehr nette und freundliche Menschen. Es gibt einen kleinen Hofladen wo man selbst gemachte Wurst und auch frische Eier kaufen kann und diese Produkte sind geschmacklich Top.

Kommen wieder

Wir sind vom 6.1 bis 12.1 Gäste dort gewesen. Und werden bestimmt wieder kommen . Die zentrale Lage ermöglicht innerhalb von einer Stunde in Baden Baden oder Freiburg zu sein . In der Hof Hündin hat man schnell eine Freundin fürs Leben gefunden auch wenn sie beim ersten Kontakt bellen auf einen zu läuft. Die selbst gemachte Wurst im Hofladen schmeckt so gut das sich selbst eine Online Bestellung lohnt. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Schöne Wohnung mit Blick aufs Kinzigtal

Der Schlossberghof liegt etwas oberhalb von Haslach-Schnellingen (in der Nähe vom Besucherbergwerk) und ist mit dem Auto (es lag kein Schnee) gut zu erreichen. Private Parkplätze auf dem Hofgelände. Die Familie Duffner ist sehr freundlich und die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert. Es gibt einen Hofladen mit hausgemachten Spezialitäten (z. B. Äpfel, Eier, Schinken auch im Winter. Brot gibt es am Donnerstag Abend). Die Wohnung bietet einen schönen Blick auf das Kinzigtal. Die Gegend eignet sich sehr gut zum Wandern und Radfahren. Am Brandkopf gibt es auch Schneeschuhpfade. Sicheres WLAN (WPA3) in der der sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnküche. Verbindung ist stabil und eignet sich auch für Homeoffice (das ich wegen des schlechten Wetters Anfang Januar gerne genutzt habe). Im Schlafzimmer ist die Verbindung instabil und bricht alle 1 - 2 Minuten ab. Das Bad ist nicht sehr geräumig, hat aber eine Duschkabine mit einem bequemen Einstieg.

Treppe in die Wohnung im Dachgeschoss ist für Personen mit Gehbehinderung weniger geeignet, ansonsten alles wie es sein sollte. Der Hof ist im Betrieb, also nicht wundern wenn es gelegentlich Geräusche vom Traktor gibt, an die man sich schnell gewöhnt.
