Aldgate Creek Cottage

This was the stay that had everything. All mod cons, sparkling clean, great contacts with the hosts, beautiful garden and top location.

On seeing the property for the first time, it took our breath away. Tranquil, set is beautiful gardens and close to amenities. Terry and Fiona were amazing hosts and provided us with the bus timetable and some suggestions of places to visit. The breakfast provisions and bottle of wine went down really well. Would recommend a stay at Aldgate Creek Cottage.

Nothing we didn’t like

The cottage was set in the most amazing gardens, beautifully tended to, with lots of discoveries to be made when wandering around the grounds. The cottage itself was roomy and comfortable with everything you could need provided. It was within an easy stroll to shops and eateries which we enjoyed. The hosts were kind and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

This property and the hosts exceeded our expectations and ticked all the boxes. Beautifully fitted out with all mod cons you could possibly want, and two balcony areas, plus a lovely creek flowing past that you can sit by. Set into the side of a little hill, the garden was also a delight, with a small bridge over the creek that leads to a lovely old pub opposite (very good food).The continental breakfast provided was very tasty and plentiful with lots of choices. The village is central for exploring the beautiful surrounds, and only 30 minutes from Adelaide CBD. The hosts have a fountain of knowledge about what to see and do, and 3 nights isn't really enough. Overall a delightful stay, and great value for money as well

So many thoughtful touches, and the perfect getaway for a couple, we had no complaints at all
