I have just spent three days in Bright and it's surrounds and happy i picked The Coach House Inn to stay. From the minute i arrived when i was greeted by a friendly manager that showed me my room without any check in formalities because it was an Agoda booking. She quickly explained where the amenities were, with the invaluable laundry after a number of days on the road. I ended up in a family room even though i am solo this trip due to availability, with no extra charge. The "Inn" is 'older style', with some places in need of a lick of paint but this does not affect the stay. If you are needing a shiny big marble bathroom this probably isn't the place for you, but if you are after a spotlessly clean room with a comfortable bed, a reverse cycle air con that is toasty warm and great facilities right in the middle of town then this is for you - I reckon it must be the best value in town. This family room has a table with four chairs, microwave, kitchen sink, a separate bedroom with two single beds and a COMFORTABLE King sized bed (I AM fussy when it comes to beds). When lounging around reading i had the choice of tables and chairs outside in the colorful leafy court yard or inside on a beautiful leather Chesterfield Lounge or comfortable arm chair. If I was to return to Bright in the future with the wife and 15yo i would definitely book this room. I can very much recommend the "Coach House Inn".

The location is perfect, almost walking distance to everything, restaurant, grocery, pub, walkpath, and waterworks. Across it is bright brewery and waterworks where you can have a cool dip in the creek. The room is nicely presented and the bed is comfortable, but I find the fish painting weird. You can get most of the things you need from the staff office, but when I ran out of shower gels on a Sunday afternoon and the office is already locked, the staff drove back to give me the toiletries and fresh towel. And that's a good customer experience I can say. There are limited parking spots and it's a bit of a squeeze though you can park on the streets. There is a laundry room, but I didn't had a chance to use it as I don't have coins to put in the washing machine. Though it is next to the main road and pub, the room is quiet and I was able to rest well.
