About this cabin rental
Nestled on the edge of the forest, overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Chatuge, there’s a welcoming chalet we call “LAZY DAYZ”. Here you’ll find a private wooded setting with gently sloping lawn leading down to the water’s edge. Imagine, having the woods, distant mountains and lake frontage all in one spot! You’ll never want to leave!
This two level home offers a large open floor plan, allowing sunlight to flood both levels from the towering cathedral ceiling. This comfy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home offers a split floor plan with the King Sized Master Suite on the upper level and a separate loft with pull-out twin bed, overlooking the open to the ceiling great room below, and majestic windows. The main level offers 2 ample Queen bedrooms which share the bath on that level. The fully equipped kitchen anticipates your every need with space for dining indoors or out on the deck.
We call it “Lazy Dayz” because of the relaxing atmosphere and cozy evenings, early morning coffee out on the screened porch, watching the sun rise over the lake or being lulled to sleep by crickets and awakened by birds’ song. But if “Lazy” is not your thing, there’s lots to do to keep you (and the kids) busy. Bring your boat or jet skis (or rent either nearby) and enjoy the convenience of docking right off your backyard in your private boat slip. There’s swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, grilling outdoors or fine dining at a number of great eateries nearby. Book early for peak season and plan to make this your go-to vacation getaway!

No unauthorized parties, underage drinking and/or controlled substances of any kind will be permitted. No Smoking in the house, smoking is permitted outside and on the porch. Please use ashtrays provided. No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave.

This is a great cove! Quiet and calm water- the house is what we expected- cozy and comfortable. We bring our paddle boards when we come to this lake, so we were able to catch sunrises and sunsets on them just outside the cove.

Nice place but parking is tricky with a boat and trailer. Fishing off the dock was not good

Parking was a little hard to get into with boat trailers so we ended up leaving trailers at a local dock. The check in was simple, house was as expected. House was clean and it was an easy walk down to a very nice deck. Deck has no electric. If you need to charge a boat battery or need light for late/ early fishing bring flashlights and maybe extension cords. Very close to ramp put in.

It was a good stay....but it could be wonderful if a few things were looked into. Cleanliness and beds were really the only issues with this stay. Spiderwebs everywhere on the side porch (grilling area) just needs to be brushed away with broom. It appeared it had not been used or cleaned in ages. Towels need to be refreshed, they had a terrible odor if you used any that were not on the rack ready to use (under the sink or linen closet). The beds were terrible.....we got very little rest. The mattresses need to be changed immediately.
