Lawsons Retreat

As we make our way around Tasmania, this pristine accommodation has provided such relaxation! The kingsize bed was very comfortable, the room was so spacious, the floor to ceiling wall-to-wall sliding doors and windows provide an expansive view! There are binoculars and books to help identify the various birds outside. The bathroom has a large shower. The kitchen is nicely stocked with good quality dishes, wine glasses, etc. We found a dozen Lease 65 oysters (OMG! SO good!) at the Bay of Fires IGA and the best sausages, so stayed in to savour our delectable finds and enjoy the view. Jerome, who runs it all on his own, was very easy to contact when we had a couple of questions. If you are traveling with others, there are larger units and an accessible unit that look equally lovely as well as some cabins. We would return in a heartbeat! Just be aware: there is a road sign to say this place is coming up, but the sign at the driveway is small, mounted low on a rock with no lights.

The accommodation was superb. Well equipped, only little point to say Instruction for hob and combination microwave.The view from the terrace was outstanding. Sun most of day. Bed very comfortable. Great value

Location of Pelican Point excellent. Spacious, comfortable room with gorgeous outlook from private deck and fully equipped kitchen appreciated. Walks around the property all easy and birdlife fabulous. Close to everything St Helens has to offer. Would recommend highly.
