A hidden gem in an hidden area. We have been to the south, east and west, all beautiful areas (the north is too crowded and mass tourism) but never thought about the centre of the island. Truly beautiful and authentic. And this hotel is calm, relaxed and friendly

We had such a wonderful stay. Everyone visiting Crete should head to the Amari valley- and stay at Elia Meronas. It was beautiful and a great break from beaches and touristy locations. My daughter says it was her favorite part of her trip and her favorite place she has ever stayed. What sets it apart is really Maria- she is truly a wonderful host - she makes you feel at home and can tell you all the wonderful things to do in the area. The food was also amazing! Maria is magic!
