Location was perfect, Hosts were friendly and welcoming, every detail thought of, recommendations for the local area offered, little basket of treats to set up any new arrival… local produce too! Surroundings were fantastic, clean throughout 10/10….we will definitely visit again, thank you,

We stayed over new year and hired out all 3 cottages. And we couldn’t have had a better stay. The cottage's are all beautiful decorated and maintained, with everything you need. The location is too die for, views are stunning. And the hosts are lovely people. What a wonderful 3 night stay and the perfect way to bring on the new year! Thank you

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location

Beautiful cottage. Well placed to visit the island. Quiet picturesque location. Lovely views. Clean, warm, well equipped. Thoughtful complimentary welcome pack. Lovely log burner. Gorgeous shower. Very friendly host.

The double mattress in the main bedroom dipped on one side and consequently I didn’t sleep well which was a shame. Also the heating woke me up at 6am both days as the radiator in the bedroom was noisy.

A cosy escape with stunning views and wonderfully welcoming hosts!

Amazing location and beautiful views all around! Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We travelled as two couples and everything was just right. An evening by a cosy fire in UK November weather in such a well-thought-out, homely place was perfect. And there was a friendly surprise in the morning when we were greeted by Oscar – a true gentleman of a dog – who came to say “hi” on his way home from his walk! There are places to eat nearby, but we were very happy with the well-stocked kitchen and cooking steaks in the evenings. Small touches such as artisan bread, biscuits, and jam made us feel even more welcome. Since the weather didn’t allow us to climb Snowdon, we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Exceptional

The cottage was perfect for our weekend away. We needed somewhere close to the circuit and this ticked all the boxes. Easy to find, ample parking, warm, spotless, the best hosts, a delightful welcome pack of homemade bread, welsh cakes, milk, butter, jam, tea/ coffee and sugar. These little touches were really special and we were ever so grateful for them. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and were there to make sure our stay was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone staying on Anglesey.

It was everything & more that was advertised. Friendly & helpful owners that couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful. Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, warm, cosy & went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend & will go again.

Repeat Visit

We have been here a number of times now. Anglesey is a lovely place to visit. Beautiful beaches and lots of interesting places to visit. The accommodation is comfortable and nicely presented. The location is rural, but with quick access to Newborough Beach and other places. The hosts live in an adjacent house and are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Loved the property, cosy, warm, clean and modern. We will definitely go back. The welcome by the hosts was lovely. The Fire was waiting to be lit which was a nice touch especially after a day in the beach in the rain. Just wish we had stayed longer

Lovely hosts, tranquil and a wonderful place to stay.

Prior to our arrival, we had a lovely welcome message outlining directions and a note about some welcome treats ie: Bread, Milk, butter and jam and some Welsh cakes, a really nice way to commence our stay. Our hosts were absolutely delightful and nothing was too much trouble, even providing places to visit, food stores etc. The location had wonderful views on a clear day of Snowdon Mountain and surrounding fields.

Short stay in August

Absolutely amazing little cottages. Dennis, Jane and Sian are great hosts, just lovely people! They have thought of everything that you could need and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for just 3 nights to break up our trip back from Ireland to York but we really could have stayed longer. The cottage was spotless and the beds were so comfy. All the added extras such as milk, welsh cakes and fresh bread on arrival were such a nice touch. We somehow managed to leave a draw full of clothes when we left and they posted them back to free of charge! The location was perfect too, not too far from anything. We will definitely be back one day. What a great place you have. ❤️

Little piece of heaven, comfy & warm, we didnt want to leave!

We were looked after very well by the friendly hosts. The property was cleaned to a very high standard which I appreciated a lot as its very rare to find this standard of attention and cleanliness when you stay anywhere. The property has everything you need for self catering with comfortable beds and comfy seating in the lounge. Warm bathroom and nice hot shower. If you’re up early look out the window and watch the sun come up over the mountains! We never expected such an amazing view.. What a treat!! If you need anything Sian Jane and Dennis are on site to help you with anything you might need .

Four adults and two dogs, and we all rate the cottage as outstanding. Especially the dogs.

The cottage had everything you could need, best equipped accommodation we have ever been in and I have been in a lot. Having two bathrooms and open plan kitchen lounge ensured we could converse wherever we were. The host was outstanding in ensuring we were comfortable, the bread, cakes and milk on arrival were so fresh and tasty. The location was perfect, the field for use by dogs was completely fenced and private and a short throw from the cottage. The privacy and quiet location allowed us to fully relax. I could not find a fault with the accommodation and we will definitely return again and again.

A lovely relaxing stay in a well equipped cottage with exceptionally friendly hosts.

Lovely clean and quaint cottage with ample outside space and beautiful views -perfect for a family of four and our dog. Great location for exploring Anglesey. The hosts Jane, Sian and Oscar dog couldn't have been more welcoming with handy tips for my husband's wildlife spotting, lending us a dog brush, lovely treats such as homemade bread and jam and dog treat basket. The cottage had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. We hope to come back again. Thank you

Exceptional stay at a wonderful cottage

Dennis, Jane, Sian & Oscar were exceptional hosts. From the moment we all arrived, we were made to feel comfortable & at home. The hosts welcomed us all to their beautiful home & couldn't do enough to make our stay so pleasant. The cottage is set amongst stunning surroundings & the views can't help but make you feel relaxed. The cottage is compact, but everything you need is right there & everything was so comfortable. Had 2 amazing nights' sleep!! The attention to detail really makes the cottages stand out, and having local produce there for us to use made it even more special. The scenery was absolutely stunning, the journey simply breathtaking. You can't help but fall in love with Gwyllt Cottages.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting

Beautiful cottage and seating area outside. The cottage had everything we needed, and fresh bread tea coffee sugar and milk were all available for us on arrival. The owner was a lovely friendly guy.

The kitchen was a bit small but had everything we needed, so it was only a very small downside. I understand some of the other cottages have larger kitchens.

The cottages are just what we enjoy - a rural location with stunning views, great accommodation, and a lovely garden. Quiet and peaceful, but a good range of beaches, seaside towns, food shops, and other attractions within 4-10 miles - and lots more further afield across Anglesey. Very family and dog friendly.

Lovely accommodation

The cottage is in a beautiful setting. The owners are very kind, helpful and left a lovely welcome package and a vase of flowers . Cottage is extremely clean and well equipped with lovely flowers in the courtyard. Good for parking. No complaints at all from us.

Nothing to dislike. Just to help others, there is no shop nearby you need a car, but it wasn't a problem to us as we've been before and knew this.
