Very clean and nice apartment

WiFi was not working properly, didn’t have internet most of the times, which was very annoying. All messages from the host came in Spanish. I always had to translate them with google translate. The check-in information came rather late, less than an hour before arrival. I had no internet to check the message that included to code to enter the apartment. I had to ask the nearby ice cream shop for the WiFi code in order to check my messages. We called the host twice, but didn’t pick up. I was expecting someone to wait for us there as I believe it was stated in the information given to us.

It was close enough to the centre, the harbour and beach. It was a good size and clean

Although it was within walking distance to the centre the location itself wasn't great. The apartment is right above a busy bus stop and looked out to the homeless people pitched up on the dried up river. The apartment is decent however in need of some tlc. The shower hose is coming apart, the damp ceiling has had a patch up job, the glass picture frames were smashed but still hanging on the wall. Also on the day we arrived we used the code which was emailed to us to gain entry but after several failed attempts we had to contact the owner who told us it had in fact been changed but had failed to tell us.
