About this house rental
No. 10 is an original 1960s holiday house, minutes from East Shelly Beach. It sleeps 6 people in comfort, and up to 8 people. It includes a bunkhouse with its own bathroom.
Orford is a 1 hour drive from Hobart and 45min from the airport. It's a great location to explore all the East Coast of Tasmania has to offer. To the north, the seaside town of Swansea is half an hour away, and Freycinet National Park (and Wineglass Bay) is a 1.15 hour drive.
Safe and sheltered East Shelly Beach is a short walk away, at the end of the street. Spring Beach is a 2min drive - or walk the clifftop for its stunning views of Maria Island.
No. 10. is a sunny, relaxed and comfortable holiday house. The deck catches all the afternoon sun, with outdoor dining, and relaxing deck chairs. A woodheater makes winter nights cosy.
Ideal for families or couples. There is a one bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 singles, and a sunroom with two single beds. At the rear is a bunkhouse with a bathroom, and double bed with a trundle bed. There is plenty of off-street parking for cars and a boat.
It's self contained with 2 bathrooms (one in bunkhouse), microwave, oven, woodheater, washing machine, iron/ironing board, TV, DVD player, DVDs (including children's), portacot, linen and towels, hairdryer, BBQ, non smoking.
The property is fully fenced and pets are allowed on arrangement with the owner.
Separate bunkhouse
An original-style bunkhouse at the rear of No. 10 provides sleeping accommodation for up to 3 people.
There is a small bedroom with a double bed, with a trundle underneath. It has a basic bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Rustic but cute. Suit couples or teenagers.
Please note:
* Guests are asked to leave No.10 clean and tidy. A cleaner can be booked if required.
* Nightly cost is for 2 adults & 2 children.
* Linen will be supplied for the number of guests booked.
*There is a 4 night minimum stay during school holidays.
* No. 10 is approved for visitor accommodation.

Comfortable, clean and well-organized holiday house - a great secure yard for our little dog, a toasty wood heater, reverse-cycle air conditioner, and a good kitchen with literally everything you might need during your stay. The host was quick to reply to emails, and very helpful. We had a wonderful time and will be back!
