Motu Beachfront Art Villas

Located opposite the best beach in Rarotonga and across the road from the best supermarket on the island. Bedroom, bathroom and living area are a good size as was the exterior deck. Loved the art work in each room. Interior design is well done and gives a guest a sense of place ie one is in the south pacific. Pretty tropical garden and direct access to the beach. The honesty bar system is a nice touch. Kiki the in house cat is a character and a knock out! House keeping staff were helpful and accomodating. The aqua facilities provided by the property are great.

The greeting we received when we arrived was abysmal. We were not welcomed but told off repeatedly about where to unload our luggage, to hurry up and then sat down like naughty school children and given a lengthy explanation of what we were not permitted to do while staying at the property. The welcome definitely needs improving. Actually welcome your guests! Lack of privacy for the villa we stayed in with other guests constantly walking past our deck area. Have consistency between booking.com and the hotel re: the percentage of deposit; these are currently inconsistent. However despite these minor negativities would definitely stay again.

Beautifully kept property absolute beachfront lagoon. Rooms were clean & comfortable with everything we needed, mostly …. No champagne stopper but I get used to this & carry my own. The honesty bar is a great concept also.

There is nothing not to like. If I had to be picky the only thing I could say is the bbq isn’t under cover in inclement weather, so have to cook in room which is ok.

Lovely modern villa with great amenities, comfy bed and a huge bathroom. Location of property is good. Staff very helpful and accommodating including providing complimentary airport transfers which were very much appreciated. Fridge nicely stocked upon arrival but would have been nice to have juice replaced daily. Loved being able to use washer/dryer to limit washing when we get home.

Confusion over beach view and beach front villa which was disappointing (due to booking.com misleading photos), pool was not that appealing due to location (middle of complex with no views) and temperature.
