比較的近くにある蛍の公園では、たくさんの蛍が見られました。
自炊ができ、部屋も共有スペースも広いです。建物は新しくありませんが、水回りもきれいにしてあり、寝具も清潔感がありました。鳥の声で心地よく目が覚めました。
チェックインの時間がもう少し早ければありがたいと思いました。

We stayed the night before a half day rafting tour. The hostel is also the head off ie of go go adventures and one of the rafting instructors and his family stayed with us in the same house. The house has very much a hostel feel. Although it may have seen better days, we had a comfortable night sleep on futons in tatami rooms and the staff was very friendly.
All was fine…only thing I can remark on is that the dishwashing soap was finished. Just don’t expect a luxury stay, but a lovely place beautifully situated in the middle of nature in a river valley.

The friendly host had prepared a fabulous BBQ for us, and it was delicious. It was an evening to remember.

Momonga Guest House is a treasure for every traveler who looks for beautiful nature, a personal & relaxed accommodation and the rural Japan. Makoto was the loveliest host and extremely supportive. Our room was amazing with two windows that gave us views over the mountains, river and Sakura trees in full bloom. Really a dream come true.
