The Wheelhouse Inn

Beautiful view, clean and comfortable.

Nothing. It was great.

- large house like apartment - almost full kitchen (fridge a touch small) - the views!!! Well constructed to take advantage of the Inlet - free limes - the kids thought the carpeted stairs were great fun (do be warned the are slippery if you go to close to the inner corner, especially wearing socks - that was what the kids loved) - excellent location to access Nelson, loved watching the planes and boats from the front deck

- TV could do with an update (especially to one that can stream) - wasn’t clear that kids bedding is in the lounge (was more obvious afterwards when reviewing listing) - could use a second TV upstairs for once folk sleeping in Lounge - not an issue for us, but the only bathroom is on the lower floor, main bedroom is 2 floors up

There is no need for me to add more compliments to the property facilities or spot because they are amazing ..with just a simple glimpse, you know it. What impressed me is the speakers on the wall, on the two sides of the big window! And the host leaves the instruction there! That's so sweet. Just connect your phone with the player via bluetooth, turn off the lights in the room, sit down in front of the window, and play the music, Clair de Lune, Moonlight, Goldberg Variations...Accompaning with moonlit and sea waves, it feels like floating in a dream. Plz also read the host's story, sounds like a novel yet it is their real life story. Fantastic.
