From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the warmth and comfort of the home, which quickly became our haven during this joyous occasion.The Vrbo was beautifully appointed, featuring spacious living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms that made it easy for our family to relax and unwind amidst the wedding preparations. I am so grateful the owners share their property with the rest of us! I have absolutely ZERO complaints or "if only's" about this home! Such a perfect family lake house with everything you could need! The home is in a BEAUTIFUL (safe) neighborhood on the hills over Lake Travis, where each house is unique. I loved the interior decor, SEVERAL levels of decks, ample seating and the *hot tub*! Every piece of furniture was comfortable, ESPECIALLY the bed/pillows in the master. All the linens and towels were very clean, along with the rest of the home! The golf cart was fun to take through the neighborhood to admire the homes and various views of the lake, where we came across deer and a tarantula in the middle of the road (how AWESOME!!). We ended up going across the lake to rent a boat for a cruise, which is a must do again! This Lakeway property is the epitome of a family vacation home! We only stayed for 3 nights, and wished for more to be able to play the games and make some smores. Thank you so much for sharing your perfect spot with us, the amount of love you put into the home really shows throughout each special touch.

We stayed here for a special weekend away from home. The home was beautiful, exactly what we were looking for and exactly as described in the listing. A peaceful setting right on the lake, but still close to some store/restaurants if you need to grab anything. The home was beautiful with plenty of space and entertainment for our group. We loved being right on the water and directly across from the marina, as we rented a boat a couple days of our stay.. we just swam across to pick up the boat :) It was very convenient! The house had everything we needed, and the owner was more than accommodating and quick with communications. We can’t wait to stay again!

The place was very clean, comfortable and had several amenities that we were able to take advantage of (easy dock access, right across from boat rental, hot tub, ping pong table, etc.). Which was great for our occasional guest that came to visit during our stay. Hot tub was really nice perk when the fall nights began to get chilly — can’t beat cocktails and a sunset! We rented this house for the month of August, and it was truly remarkable! Situated perfectly on a cove in the lake across from Lakeway marina, we were able to enjoy everything that the lake has to offer, and still be an easy drive from Austin and the surrounding areas. The house itself is pristine, and gave us plenty of space for eight people! We look forward to a return trip soon!

What a wonderful place! Our son was getting married in Austin so we needed a spot for a few out of town family members who wanted to stay together. Everyone is still commenting on how relaxing our stay was! The indoor/outdoor living provided by all the great patio spaces and views really create a great feel to the home. The owners have in a very gracious manner thought of everything you need to make your stay feel like home. Can't wait to come back! PS we were concern with the distance to restaurants but there are great one within a few minutes!

An amazing weekend at this beautiful home on the waters edge. There is a golf cart available to explore the beautiful neighborhood. The only minor issue (I use that very lightly) was the patio was not little kid friendly. There was an open gate that led straight down to the steep waters edge. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Perfect weekend!

This house could not have been a better place for a guys' trip. Eight of us descended on this property for a low-key, lakeside weekend. The house was absolutely fantastic - well-appointed and plenty of space. The deck and outdoor kitchen were a hit, and we all loved the fact that we had such easy access to the water. I could not think of a better way to escape for a long-weekend. Ryan was extremely responsive and great to work with. I cannot thank he and his family enough for having us. I look forward to staying there again.

We picked this house as a last minute vacation spot for our family of five. It was in a nice community and right on the lake. Even though the house was an older home, the update they've made is beautiful. They've used their space wisely and the home feels roomy. The store was very close by and the Marina across the cove. We took our own paddle boards and boat and had a great time. There's not a backyard, as it is a cliff that leads you to the water, which seems to be the standard for the lake. We used the boat dock and tied the boat up all weekend. Ryan was great at communicating with us, especially last minute. This is a great property to spend time with family and friends.

I highly recommend this property on Lake Travis for couples, friends or families. It's only minutes from the marina, in a beautiful neighborhood for walking, jogging or biking. The home is so peaceful and well appointed; we didn't want to leave!
