Hotel Aktaion Syros

Staying at Aktaion made it easy to experience the atmosphere of Ermoupoli rather than simply using the hotel as a place to sleep. The waterfront setting is beautiful, and the surrounding streets are full of interesting buildings, shops, cafés and restaurants. The hotel itself was comfortable and very clean, with a lovely traditional character. We also found the staff polite and accommodating throughout our visit. There is something particularly enjoyable about staying in a historic property that still offers all the practical comforts you need.

What I enjoyed most was the character of the hotel and its position overlooking the harbor. It felt like a genuine Ermoupoli experience.

The location was particularly convenient for exploring Ermoupoli. It was easy to walk around and discover different parts of the town.

What I enjoyed most about Aktaion was the atmosphere. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building and its position near the waterfront makes it a particularly pleasant place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely maintained, while the central location made it easy to explore Ermoupoli on foot. I also appreciated the welcoming attitude of the staff and the relaxed feeling throughout the hotel. It was a very enjoyable base for discovering Syros.
