Ikon Hotel

The location of the stay is in middle of the town centre and it’s super easy to find yummy food around! And staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

The bed is the room we stayed doesn’t appear to have good support of the back which is the only drawback I can think of.

The size of the room was incredible, so large. It was reallyb a suite. The bathroom was modern and big with beautiful white fluffy towels. There was a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. The king size bed was very comfortable. As we were directly above the pub, it was convenient for our evening meal. I would totally recommend the Ikon. Free parking was a bonus.

The town was disappointing a lot of the shops were closed or closed down.

Room was nice and clean, bed was comfy and the location was great. The building is lovely.

Got to check in, door locked - no one there. Called the number - no answer. Messaged him on booking.com - no response. Found some cleaning staff for an adjacent business who told us to go to the bottle shop next door owned by the same person. Attendant called him - no answer. So after a fair bit of confusion and wandering around, the owner did turn up and apologised but pretty frustrating. Ear plugs on the side table eluded to a noisy nights sleep, glad they were there. Maybe not a good option for light sleepers
