Absolutely wonderful stay in Maleme with Sofia. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fairly modern. The pool is well maintained and we were lucky enough to be in there alone most of the time. Literally across the road from a rocky beach and lots of bars/restaurants super close. Rooms have AC, bug screens and the little complimentary "bits" are definitely a bonus. They also keep things that other guests leave, shampoo...umbrellas...cards etc. We took on of the umbrellas with us, as long as you bring it back they are happy! Lots of BEAUTIFUL things to see within 20/30 mins, we hired a 300cc scooter which was more than enough. Strongly recommend.
The room we were in had a very small kitchenette, surely not a problem for the majority of people but we tend to eat in. There isn't a shuttle service but bus service super easy to use! Sofia quickly resolved ANY issues. A real super host.
