-No major complaints -Price is good for the area -Shower is actually hot and enclosed away from the toilet unlike many hostels/hotels at this price point -Location is good for the price, there is some traffic that can be heard since a busy road is nearby. Be careful crossing the street close to the hill as vehicles appear very quickly driving fast! A couple nice restaurants are nearby.

I have stayed in countless hotels, from budget to luxury, and I have NEVER experienced customer service this terrible. The staff are extremely rude, lack basic empathy, and seem more interested in finding ways to charge guests than providing decent service. First, the towel situation was absolutely ridiculous. For three days, our towels were never replaced despite daily housekeeping. When we asked for fresh ones, we were told to bring the dirty towels down to reception ourselves. Eventually, we had to take our towels and the soaking-wet, dirty floor mat to a laundry shop and PAY to wash them ourselves! After washing everything, we hung them in the bathroom to dry. The cleaner later took those items and replaced them with two towels and one face towel. Then, on checkout day, we were suddenly accused of having a missing floor mat and face towel, and the staff wanted to charge us for them! Are you kidding me?! We had washed those items ourselves, and housekeeping had taken them! Why on earth would we want to steal an old, dirty floor mat or used hotel towels? I’ve attached a photo so everyone can see what we were supposedly trying to steal. When we tried to explain, the receptionist (The tall guy with glasses) became extremely aggressive, started yelling, and even threatened to call the POLICE on me and my boyfriend! He also said, “This is Thailand!” as though that somehow justified the way he was treating us. What exactly was that supposed to mean? We were paying guests trying to resolve a misunderstanding, not criminals. His nationality is irrelevant, but using “This is Thailand” to intimidate guests is completely inappropriate and disrespectful. Thailand is known for its hospitality, and this behaviour certainly does not represent the welcoming experiences I’ve had elsewhere in the country. Instead of investigating or listening to our explanation, the receptionist started yelling and treating us like thieves. Shockingly, this was the SAME staff member I had witnessed having a massive argument with another guest earlier during our stay. Clearly, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Another incident involved accidentally breaking a glass in our room. My boyfriend immediately went downstairs with the broken glass, apologised, and politely asked to borrow a brush so we could clean it ourselves. Instead of asking if anyone was hurt or acknowledging his apology, the receptionist repeatedly demanded “50 baht” and brought out a notepad for him to sign. We paid the 50 baht when returning the brush. The issue was NEVER the money, but the attitude! A little empathy and basic manners cost absolutely nothing. The room itself wasn’t much better. The sliding door was broken with no warning sign, the sink was blocked, and the room was extremely noisy due to its location beside the main road. I understand this is a budget hotel, and I wasn’t expecting luxury. But “you get what you pay for” should apply to facilities, NOT basic human decency. What made the whole experience worse was the constant feeling that the staff were looking for opportunities to charge us for something. After being made to wash our own towels and then accused of stealing them, I genuinely felt like I was being scammed rather than staying at a hotel. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or disrespected as a paying guest. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, stay somewhere else. But if you enjoy paying to be shouted at, accused of stealing dirty towels, and arguing with hotel staff, then congratulations — this is the perfect place for you! Cheap rooms are understandable. Cheap attitudes are not.
