Well though out hotel in a great location!

This place deserves a better rating! I think it depends if you get a new or old room. I had a new room on the 3rd floor and it was PERFECT. Had really thoughtful details in the bedroom design: including how the lighting was done (lots of options), a big safe so you can store laptop if needed, lots of plugs around the room, nice wardrobe area so clothing mess was out of the main area, comfortable bed with thick mattress protector that made it cosy and a lovely balcony. Enjoyed eating breakfast sitting on the beach too! Would stay here again as long as I got one of the new rooms. Great location - loads of good restaurants and gyms nearby, and right on the beach. Thanks for a delightful stay!

More vegan options are breakfast would be great, like the tofu doesn’t need to be fish tofu for example and some vegan butter and plant based milks :)

The location and staff were amazing, right by the beach! The resort itself was lovely, nice pool.

I wasn’t expecting the room I got, it’s quite misleading on the booking website about what you’re actually getting, the room, especially the bathroom could do with a renovation. My friend found the bed quite hard too though I found mine fine. There were only 2 plug sockets in the room, this made it impossible to plug our chargers in and charge our devices as they wouldn’t fit and would’ve been hanging from the wall, the wifi was also really bad in our room but near the restaurant was brilliant. I’m aware the staff cannot really control this but there were so many flies in our room, particularly the bathroom. I don’t even know how they were getting in but there were so so many of them.

Place that I’ll sure book another time in TAO

Amazing resort with everything you can ask for. You got outdoor tropical showers and toilets so you won’t need to run to your room each time you’re out, you got amazing breakfast right on the beach and the lunch+dinner restaurant is fantastic. The crew very kind and friendly people! (I saw couple of bad reviews before coming about the freshness of the facilities etc. you can strongly ignore them, it’s Thailand and I seen places that you’d wish you’d stay at home. Not this case)

There were not many sun beds The lock on our door did not work and the receptionist was not interested Worms in our shower even after cleaning Poor temperature control for shower. What a wonderful place to start our honeymoon trip in Thailand. Amazing and helpful staff, beautiful pool, & a decent breakfast. Upon arrival, we instantly fell in love and extended a few more days. I highly recommend this place.

Horrible and not clean!

Nothing it was awful

The room is horrible. Everything is old. The bathroom looked disgusting to say the least. The sheets were not clean and they had dirty disposable slippers that have been used. I checked in then checked out 30 mins later. There’s no waiting area if you arrive early, you have to wait in the heat. The balcony was horrible theres smell of cooking and loud sound of ventilation.

Great location and amenities but the sound was an issue

The location was great, especially with a toddler. We were able to walk to coffee shops, shopping and the beach within 2-3 minutes which is nice when you have a toddler who naps. The pull out bed from the chair in the room was great for our daughter to sleep in, we didn’t have to bring a bed with us. We had the townhome room and it was great because we could put our daughter to bed and go upstairs to the patio and relax at night. We loved the breakfast in the morning.

The NOISE from the surrounding bars! We had my child’s sound machine on and we could still hear it. We ended up wearing noise canceling headphones to block out the noise. The mosquitos were annoying at night but we bought a repellant at the store and it fixed the issue

Perfect location and views

The location is perfect - all the bars and restaurants and main beach is right there!! The pool at the beach front is just what you need!! The staff were so so helpful and you get free transfer on arrival and departure!! Made our stay perfect!!

The beds could been a bit comfier but a cleaner came everything you put the sign on your door which was perfect!!

Loved Sairee Hut Resort

We loved our stay at Sairee Hut. Great location, lovely pool with a beach view, very nice breakfast at the beachfront restaurant. We had a poolside room which was upstairs above the restaurant. It was spacious with a very large private outdoor area. We appreciated the free transfer to and from the ferry terminal. Cute, buzzy little village with lots of shops (especially dive shops) and a great variety of eating places. Rubbish is an ongoing problem on Sairee Beach. Most places clean up the beach in front daily, including Sairee Hut. We saw school groups doing cleanups and volunteering tourists helping. A lot of education being promoted also. But the next tide just brings more rubbish...

Family time in Koh Tao

It is very central. It is clean and comfortable with daily cleaning. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and they offer a free shuttle to and from the ferry. Pool towels are provided and help given promptly.

This is the second time we have stayed here and although it has improved the breakfast still needs some improvement with food left uncovered for flies to land on.

Beautiful, fun, and a little crazy

The location on Sairee beach was at the quieter end. It’s very beautiful. Right next door to a yoga studio. The pool was shady which is ideal with kids. We like the minor birds outside our room.

All of sairee beach is busy. It’s typical for Thai beach places but the shower was generally cold. I would have liked the room tidying each day and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Which they alway did. The concrete stairs were pretty hectic with no banister. So wouldn’t advise if with small children.

Great location and spacious rooms, nice pool facilities. Breakfast was good, but make sure you get down before 11 because they take all the food away at 11 on the dot.

The staff were friendly and kind, the pool area was small but cool and inviting. amazing view of the sunset from the hotel resturant.

No reception after 21 pm, the hotel premises reassembled a work site in some areas, and was not tidy or clean looking, breakfast was disappointing.. but it worked.

Sairee Hut is still amazing!

Sairee hut is amazing. Staff is super friendly and the breakfast right on the beach is something to experience. The location on the last part of sairee beach is perfect, eather as a family, travellers or friends looking to party. Walking to mainstreet 7Eleven is 3 minuttes.

The Music from the nearby Sundance goes on till 01 am. If you live close to the pool, you will surely be disturbed by this. A set of earplugs does the job.

The shower wasn't good installed in the bathroom and too bad smell from the sewage into our room. We have to ask that they have to spray our room to reduce the smell.
