.:. COVID CANCELLATION POLICY .:.
We understand that COVID-19 is affecting travel plans less and less these days, but we do still have people who want to cancel right before their trip due to a positive test for a member of their party. Although we respect and support any attempt to not get others sick, we do not believe we should bear the full financial burden of this. So in the case of a last-minute problem, we have established the below cancelation policy if a member of your group has COVID and you no longer want to stay.
-Over 7 days out from the beginning of the reservation: We will issue you a full refund.
-Between 7 days and 48 hours from the start of reservation: 50% + any amount over that we are able to re-rent the unit for.
-48 hours from the start of your reservation: We will only refund you what we are able to re-rent the home for.
-We suggest testing to where you get your results 7 days out and quarantining from there.
-We require an official (from the doctor) positive covid test with a name on it and a matching ID. A picture of an at-home test does not qualify.
-We suggest purchasing travel insurance.
- Please cancel as soon as possible after providing the documents, also please note cancellations must be done before 4pm otherwise it will count as a day.

We had a lovely holiday stay. The frozen lake was constantly changing with the light. The beds were comfortable and there were cozy spaces for our family to come together or have some quiet time. The driveway was plowed and sanded on all but Christmas Day, which makes sense.

This is a great place, we love it here! The whole house is so well equipped that it makes it a true turn key experience. And we make use of it all: the lake, the boats, the huge dining table, the smart TVs, games, the firewood. It's especially nice having 2 refrigerators. For the size of our group, we use both. It's lovely being so close to the water, I sit in the leather chair every morning watching the sun rise and listening to the loons and, now that they're older, the kids can be in the water without us down there because we can see them at all times. The dogs love it too. My sister and I have coffee on the dock every morning while the dogs take a swim. Connor and Tamara are excellent hosts, very responsive whenever we've needed anything. We will definately be back!

We chose this home because our Grandparents owned this along with several cabins along Rangeley Lake in the 60’s. Although updates have been made, it was still reminiscent of the home we visited in the past. Owners were exceptionally responsive with questions. Loved it! Thank you!!

My family & friends traveled to a different destination every year for the past 15 yrs because we don’t want to have a “repeat vacation”.After staying at Lakeside lodge everyone said they would definitely repeat vaca here. This was the most relaxing vacation we ever had & we loved every minute of it! Words cannot express how overwhelmed we were by the beauty and peacefulness of this getaway. It was easy to put down the laptops, tablets, & cellphones in favor of the clean air & views. All the amenities kept all of us busy w/ some unforgettable memories, time well spent!Thank you Conor for letting us experience this & for being attentive w/ our stay. It was a sad time leaving, even the dogs miss it lol.
