Woodlands is good value for money. The location is right next to Dolphin Roundabout, so you've got Terminal 21, La Baguette and the new developments opposite - Beer Hub and Harat's. Baht bus into town if you want. It isn't beach-side but there are two pools and plenty of space in the gardens. Breakfast was okay, about the same level as expected.

Location is good and price was okay
Photos of room look better than in reality. It is not modern looking at all and looks like a Thai style hotel room from the earlier 2000s that has been refurbished. Doesn't even feel tropical/exotic. The room I had felt 3-star at best It was not comfortable at night with all the darkness and mozzies. I checked out after 1 day after accidentally booking 4 days. I didn't try the breakfast or any of the facilities
