Several things broken in the room, lights, flush, tv aerial Menu had several things in that they didn’t sell Two rooms booked for a family and put on different floors and at either ends of the hotel

I was fined £100 for parking witch I already had in booking and Miss Denise wood booked in our car to car park. FY69USV not very happy about that!.

Poor restaurant food. Breakfast buffet was so poor I was unable to cut food (even fried egg) with a knife. Hot food left on buffet for long period so ruined. Dinner food had limp salad and undercooked fries.

The location and the size of the room was great !

I didn't like the food nachos were sent back and still came back really dry and heated in the micro. Chicken wings were just batter and cold got a room with bed and sofa bed which had no bedding quilt sheet or pillows and when called about it there was only a quilt brought to the room my son has learning difficulties and he is an older boy so he couldn't change in men's room him self and didn't want to be in woman's incase people were looking at him so he didn't want to go swimming so yeah would have been better stayin at home. The breakfast was ok

Not a hotel experience, but it’s ok to sleep after long days of hiking.

If you are looking for a base that is easily accessible from the motorways and only want to be there for the night, while discovering Scotland, and pay the littlest as possible, it’s ok.

It’s incredibly run down and dirty. It clearly has been renovated not long ago, and already looks horrible. The furnitures, carpet, curtains, showers all well chosen and stylish, but they haven’t been cleaned for years. Everything is stained, not cared for. The carpet in the rooms didn’t see a hoover for years, the curtains are mouldy, the silicone in the shower and sink has pink/black build up. They provide room service and the spilled drinks and food just left on the walls, same as lipstick and god knows what else. Sad to see, bc there is plenty of opportunity in this hotel, considering it’s location and size.

Great value room and great location. Breakfast was good.

DBB menu options were poor and chosen meal was below average. Also restaurant was cold, I had to fetch my mum a cardigan. Room was nice but concerns about mobility. Requested a wheelchair room as my mum has mobility issues. She couldn't use the shower because of the step.

Nice hotel but disappointing closure of the pool

Hotel and parking were great, make sure you put your car registration into the machine at reception. Our room was large and very nice, with good storage, however a fridge would have been good as we are used to that in every hotel we have stayed in. . Staff were more than helpful and very polite and dinner was tasty.

When we arrived, we said we were really looking forward to going to the pool and we were informed it was closed that day/evening as someone had been sick in it. Which was firstly very offputting and secondly the main reason we booked the hotel.

The bathroom door didn’t shut properly. This was reported to reception and they said they would send someone up to fix it. It wasn’t fixed and kept popping open. Bar shut very early although there were still customers there. No earplugs at reception despite being told they were available.

Management need to revise cleaning routine.

It's a cheap price with all basic needs provided alongside fitness and swimming pool. Room is massive complete with all basics stuff.

I found Cobwebs on the lamshades, ac and corner of each rooms. I found someone else fingernails on the carpet. Maybe they are short of cleaning staff. Because I paid cheaply and stayed comfortably, this is forgiven. I'd suggest the management to be more efficient with cleaning routine. For example, it's not necessary to clean room that is expected to be checked out. I was away for breakfast and swimming pool in the morning to come back with a clean room when I'm only going to come back to have shower, messed up the bedding to inspect leftovers and checkout 2 hours later. Poor cleaning person has to come back to redo it all. Wasted effort means suffered quality. Be smart, don't work hard in times of recent hospitality restructuring.

The location was ideal as was 5 minutes drive from my meeting the following morning. The facilities was good, swimming/sauna and steam room

The bathroom/wet shower stunk of wee. it looked like it had never been cleaned, floors and walls where all discoloured. i was on a video meeting at 9am and someone let themself in my room and walked back out without even saying sorry. I hadnt checked out, nor was it past the checking out time. bad service in the restaurant, looked at a menu earlier on my arrival, decided what i wanted to eat. sat at the table in the restaurant for 20 minutes before someone come and asked if i was dining. i then went to order 3 asisian dishes with sweet potato fries to be told that its not on the menu anymore and not sure why old menus are still on tables. after i ordered, she asked 'are you paying for it now' in which i replied, no i havent eaten it yet, and i may want a dessert, which i did. felt very rushed to eat and be gone when they eventually seen me at the table.
