Great location
The breakfasts were very good and served on hot plates. The hotel is less than ten minutes drive into Taunton city centre and there's a lively pub opposite. It's a good location to explore the area.

More a B&B than hotel. Reception unmanned Totally uncooperative on refund or part refund on alleged 2nd room they say we booked. Claimed they were 100% occupied when they were clearly not. At dinner, breakfast we saw no other customers, car park empty so clearly not true Despite Booking.com suggesting a refund, they Refused. Kept our money

We plan to return the next time we stay in Taunton.
We particularly liked the decor throughout the hotel. We very much enjoyed the breakfast and the choice that was available. The scrambled eggs were excellent. The attention to detail and the professionalism of Mrs. Clarke.
