Villaggio Residence Nettuno

The location is fantastic—right on the beachfront. The room was clean, and everything worked properly. Of course, the accommodation is very basic, but we knew exactly where we were going and what to expect for the price. Considering how affordable it was, everything exceeded our expectations. It’s located right next to the Nerano waterfront. There are plenty of nice cafés and restaurants, as well as shops, including souvenir stores. Prices are reasonable. It’s also a great base for exploring the area: Sorrento is about a 40-minute drive away, while Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius can be reached in around 1.5 hours. Positano is also just 40 minutes away. There are many hiking trails in the surrounding mountains, ranging from easy to challenging. We discovered a new route almost every day. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the sea was incredibly warm and crystal clear (July 2026). There’s plenty of marine life, making it a great place for snorkeling. The beach is pebbly, so I would recommend wearing water shoes for a more comfortable entry into the sea.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped. There was only one small saucepan and one very large pot, and the cookware was in poor condition—the frying pan was so worn that everything stuck to it. There were also no basic cleaning supplies, such as dishwashing liquid or a sponge, so we had to buy them ourselves. The window locks didn’t work and the windows could be opened from the outside. The door lock also didn’t provide much security, which was quite concerning.

Stayed in one of their seaview bungalows. Overall very good value for money. The onsite restaurant is very good value offering wood fired pizzas. The onsite shop/bar has everything else you need. Quiet location away from busy crowds. Breakfast on the balcony with the view of the sea. Marina is within 5min walking where a local company is running very reasonably priced Capri day trips.

Not the most luxurious, slightly dated, rooms are pretty small. Everything as expected for the price.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy little place. Our bungalow had everything we needed: a compact but fully equipped kitchen, plenty of space, and comfortable accommodation suitable for the whole family, including two separate bedrooms.It was peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay.The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and having free parking available was a great bonus.
