Kasuku Villa

This place ended up feeling like home. I originally planned to stay at Kasuku Villa for a few nights — and somehow ended up staying three weeks. I think that says more than any list of facilities ever could. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained, with AC, reliable Wi-Fi and a generator — everything you need for a comfortable stay in Zanzibar. The location is great, the food is genuinely good, and the price is very reasonable. Communication was also always easy and smooth throughout my stay. But what really made the experience special was the manager. She is one of those people who makes a place feel different — incredibly warm, attentive, helpful and genuinely caring. She went out of her way to make sure everything was good and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. I honestly didn’t expect to stay for three weeks when I first arrived, but I ended up feeling so comfortable here that leaving was actually difficult. Kasuku Villa has everything you need, but it’s the people that make you want to stay longer. I would happily come back and genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in Zanzibar.

Gracias a Kim, Alba y Elisa en especial por cuidar cada detalle del alojamiento. Desayuno increíble, instalaciones perfectas, ambiente muy tranquilo y acogedor, limpio, tal y como se muestra en las fotos. Un lugar al que venir 100% tanto solo como en pareja o con amigos. Desde el principio lo pusieron fácil, muy flexibles. El hecho de que Alba hablase tanto español como catalán facilitó todo mucho, aunque el personal habla inglés perfecto y, de nuevo, recalco que fue todo muy fácil. Se valora mucho que la habitación tenga aire acondicionado y ventilador, a 1 minuto de la playa andando y habitación grande. Gracias de verdad, sin duda volveré.

The staff were amazing, they were so happy to help with any questions we had. Anytime we sat out in the restaurant we got given crips or juice and it really made us feel at home. The breakfast included was also incredible and great value for money.

The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped but the staff were happy to cook anything we’d bought for us in their kitchen.

Lovely place to stay! We had a great time here! Kim is a great host and he will let you feel comfortable in his place.
