Gîte simple et rustique, loin du confort d’un hôtel classique, mais c’est justement ce qui fait tout son charme. Accueil chaleureux, cadre superbe et vraie sensation d’être hors des sentiers battus. J’y ai particulièrement apprécié de pouvoir partir directement pour un trail jusqu’au Jbel Jâmiʿ al-ʿAbbâd, à près de 2 100 m d’altitude. Paysages magnifiques, sentiers sauvages et personne!. Une excellente expérience pour qui aime la montagne, l’authenticité et les lieux isolés.

Ibrahim who runs the gite is such a lovely person, as are the rest of the team at Gite Azilane. The food was delicious and plentiful. The location, in a small mountain village looking across the hills and mountains, is spectacular. The Gite was our night stop on a 2 day hike, Chefchaouen to Azilane, Azilane to Akchour. Ibrahim and Fatima at Eco Rando Chefchaouen gave us the information to tackle this hike without a guide, it was fabulous, but steep and difficult to find the trail in places. If you’re a keen hiker, we’d recommend it, and the overnight at Gite Azilane. Thanks so much Ibrahim. Ben & Will
