Its very nice

Nice, quite location, river and mountain view, nice apartment, parking. Very clean apartment, comfy beds. Shopping center and public pool are very close, 3-5 min walk; city centre within walking distance as well (10 min). WiFi works fine.

smart TV offers youtube and other applications but it responds very slowly and sometimes freezes.

Teleurstellend

Although there is a key box, the owner called the same day to come get the key in Daun. This caused an extra travel time of 45 min. The room itself was OK, but there were many cobwebs present. It did not look like the house had been cleaned recently. On the ceiling in the bathroom, there was a lot of black mold present above the shower. The other vacation apartments had renovations going on. From 8:30 am professionals were working with a jackhammer (on 1 day even until 9:00 pm!). If you renovate your complex thoroughly, do not rent out your other other apartments. This was not the fun and restful vacation I needed.

Frustrating at first because of the HOST and KEY but COMFORTABLE once you get in room.

quite area, you have your own parking space right infront of the property. Very close to Supermarket and around 20mins walk to Center of Cochem. Small studio flat which is enough for 2 person. Bed is super comfortable 👍

There is NO reception to welcome you, it is mentioned in the Booking.com that the host will contact me before check-in to give the details how I will get the key in the Post box which has a code, which I didn’t get, and tried to contact the HOST for nth times but didn’t get hold of them, I leave a voicemail that I am infront of the property but I don’t get reply either. Which is very frustrating after a long drive. What I did is, I pushed all the doorbell in each room and luckily someone talk to me and opened the main door, problem is not solve coz I don’t have the key yet of our room, while trying to ring the HOST again - FINALLY he picked up the phone and unfortunately he doesn’t speak English… 😔 I have to disturb the guest again coz he can speak German, to make it short.. he arranged where the key is and the code…. ☺️ Lastly, they have a very poor WI-FI connection…

Fully furnished studio apartment, no smoking, we got what we paid for.

Before I start, I understand there are some people who are difficult or impossible to satisfy. We aren’t those people. In fact, we think we got what we paid for because the rate was nearly 1/2 of other local establishments. That said, this is our only negative review of seven stays during our extended vacation in Europe. The key box did not work and the host lives 45 minutes away with no one else on site. He would not come to open the room unless we paid upfront with cash. Never mind we called to advise of our arrival time and booking.com made no mention of this. His wife said the key box always works but reviews state otherwise. He did not understand English except he could clearly say that I must learn German. When he arrived with a key some 2 hours after our arrival, there was no apology for the key box malfunction. We paid a substantial cleaning fee yet the guest book requires we clean everything used and take out the trash with emphasis on properly dividing the waste with an added threat of additional fees if we failed to comply. The room was clean at one time but had not been occupied for awhile so it was dusty with dead insects and spiderwebs. The common area was the same. The yard was similarly neglected. Only one twin-sized duvet was provided. The WiFi is free per advertisement but we can’t be sure because no password was provided and that info is not in the guest book either.

Die Lage ist super. Das Zentrum ist sogar zu Fuß gut zu erreichen (wenn man gut zu Fuß ist). Der Geldbunker liegt nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Top!

Die Stadt Cochem

Der Kontakt zum Vermieter, welcher nicht zeitnah auf fragen unsererseits antwortete, der Geruch in der Wohnung, welcher erst nach Tagen des lüften rausging, Garten war mehr als ungepflegt, an den Bänken im Garten war alles voll mit Vogelkot, WLAN war auch nicht wirklich vorhanden. Eine erneute Buchung unsererseits wird nicht mehr kommen. Bitte überlegt euch die Buchung hier!

Die Lage ist für Familien sehr gut da sie etwas von der City entfernt liegt, und daher etwas ruhiger. Aber in der Nähe zum Schwimmbad und zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Sie war wirklich sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Onsympathieke huisbaas

Een grote nette woning ideaal voor 2 personen, dicht bij de camping waar de familie verbleef.

De betaling, waarom niet via booking. ? Het moest per overschrijving maar kreeg maar rekeningnr. de dag ervoor. Natuurlijk dat het niet onmiddellijk op zijn rekening staat. Hij maar bellen en berichten sturen voor zijn huur....... De huisbaas is kort en nors aan de telefoon, is lastig dat hij het 2X moet zeggen . Hij spreekt geen engels ????? Hoe doet hij dat met zijn appartementen in een ander land ? Het duurt vooraleer de zon in het appartement komt, en er zon op het terras is. Het gras stond super lang, 5 minuten op de bank buiten gezeten, en voeten over beten van de insecten.
