Ridiculous pricing, terrible beds.

Sauna was great.

No coffee or tea kettle in the room. You can get coffee during breakfast but after 10.00 you gotta pay. Water is 5.50 in the dining room, asked the employee about it and they said they get the water delivered?? The glass bottles arent sealed and there were no tags. Its tap water. Tap water is perfectly safe to drink. Ridiculous pricing! Also 9 euros for a coffee from that same breakfast machine with two tiny chocolates as a 'desert'? What?? There's a small lounge area with 4 small couches that was often too crowded, and the dining area wasn't available to sit in. Beds were very uncomfortable, I could feel the spiral bones. Asked for a topper, none was available. Definitely wouldnt recommend this hotel for more than one night. We left on day 3 of of our 4 day trip

URGENT need for renovation

While the staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, unfortunately the overall experience was deeply disappointing. The room was in unacceptable condition: the carpet was stained, including visible brown marks, and the bathroom was far from clean. The shower had mould on the walls and between the joints of the cabin, and the entire bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell. The room and especially the bathroom were extremely old and neglected, in urgent need of renovation. The wardrobe looked at least 100 years old, its doors couldn’t be closed, and the entire space smelled musty and stale. When we informed the staff about these issues, they simply said they would tell the cleaning staff to clean more thoroughly. This completely missed the point — or worse, was a refusal to acknowledge the disastrous state of the carpet, shower, and furnishings. This wasn’t a matter of light cleaning; the room was fundamentally unsuitable. The shower was not only unhygienic, but also dangerously small and difficult to access, especially for elderly guests. Frankly, someone responsible for the building should be made to stay in that room themselves. For the price charged, this experience was unacceptable.

We ordered a suite for our famiely eventually, we recieved a big room with one big bed for the parents and a two beds above each other there were no privacy at all and above all its wasnt a suite

Disappointed with the overall experience.

Hotel typical of the area.

Room in the lodge was noisy so couldn’t sleep. Was moved to an “ upgraded” smaller room in the main hotel for the next 2 nights. This was quiet. The restaurant was a disappointment, food was below average on quality and presentation but above average on price (€12 for 3 scoops of ungarnished ice cream). The restaurant and breakfast staff were a delight while the reception staff were otherwise. Breakfast portions are controlled with meat and cheese being served at the table.

Check in only till 18 pm, although we have informed via booking we will be around 19pm. Why to make troubles out of this? We asked for bath but got a shower Also expected a bit better room for a price.

The reception is very friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is very old but the owners are renovating and very good but the smell of paint in the lobby is still present. The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming and the bathrooms are brand new! Breakfast takes place in the restaurant hall, plenty of room. Breakfast was very good and varied with two types of set menus but unfortunately I got sick and had a stomach ache all day and by the end of the day I felt really sick.

Something about breakfast was not fresh.

Hall, restaurant and garden are cosy and modern. Breakfast and dinner were very good!

I guess they are currently renovating the rooms (there was a plastic wall along the entire corridor of the first floor), unfortunately our room was still with original bathroom from the 70s. After seeing very nice and modern pictures of the rooms in Booking.com I was personally a bit disappointed. Probably once the renovation is completed the price of the room will be fully worth.
