good choice as basis hotel for motorcycle tours in Vosges

Breakfast was really good and the choosing is sufficient. Also the enclosed restaurant was nice, but you need definitely a reservation for dinner...

Nice place!

Nice enough room although a bit dark design. Nice terasse to have beer overlooking the small pond. Decent choice for breakfast. Tip! Go for dinner to la Taverne du Vigneron nearby . ( 5 mins by car probably 20 min walk). Excellent French food.

Obnoxious treatment by restaurant staff

Treatment in restaurant. Although receptionist bkd a table for me the waiter at entrance refused to seat me. Full, he said and then I sked the headwaiter for an explanation. He didn't answer but showed me a table outside the regular dining area. I asked him again for the reason of this brutal behaviour but he kept silent. I then said I didn't want to dine in such place and I left. It is not so easy for an elderly lady to ravel alone and to be treated like that

A good place for a one-night stay for singles or couples.

The hotel location was nice (once we got past the industrial park). The "Lake" was nice, but was really a large duck pond complete with swans and ducks. Our balcony room faced the pond (described as a lake view and paid for accordingly). Evening food at the restaurant on the terrace was excellent.

For me, the bed was too soft and not good for my back. A nearby restaurant (off property) was busy and loud as our balcony also faced it. Room only came with one towel and I had to chase to the other hotel on the property to get more due to low level of staffing. Our view of the "lake" was obstructed by several trees. Breakfast was chaotic and poorly laid out space wise.

Dofficult to find a reason to choose this place.

Room was quiet, the bathroom big enough, the parking comfortably located close to the reception..

First, the hotel is located near to an unattractive part if the village which you have to pass by before entering the hotel domaine. Also, the hotel is far from the motorway, we had chosen it because we wanted to spend the night in nice charming place with a good restaurant, but we did not go deeply enough during our research. The restaurant which is the part of the hotel (and you have no choice, as the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere) disappointed us in many points. The service was awful - you had to ask several times for any service like getting menu, drinks, putting order etc. The quality of the meals was disappointing as well, especially considering prices. No local food, in the foot of Vosges mountains there were only Atlantic fish in the menu! We do not understand why the lake full of nice big fish had no reflections in the menu. Moreover, very little seasoning of meals. As far as breakfast is concerned - no vegetables at all (tomates or cucumbers). No greetings at the entrance, poor service.

Beware of the location: behind the hotel is a factory and the “lake” in front is rather a pond😉. No covid safe checks were done by staff!

There was no possibility to eat in their restaurant because it was busy , we found that a little strange that a hotel don’t have the facillties to prepar diner for all of their guests! But there was a pizzeria very close !

Superb

Due to covid-19 situation breakfast ordering had to be done the day before instead of buffet. But everything was fine, even is sth was missing post-ordering was possible. Friendly stuff! Free parking for motorbikes available. If you have time, take a visit at the pizzeria on the other side of the small lake, it is very delicious. But reservation in time before is needed!

Superb hotel and staff

The hotel is in a great location just walking distance from the Guebwiller town centre but far enough to be quiet. The hotel is right next to two very popular restaurants and also a nice lake which is very picturesque. We stayed in room 301 (suite) which is the very best room in the hotel and worth the extra money. It has a great balcony overviewing the lake. The room itself is very big with a large living room area as well as a large bedroom area. The bathroom has a big bath and a separate shower.

Due to covid pandemic the breakfast was not a buffet but served to your table. This is absolutely fine but did perhaps limit the diversity of the breakfast as each day was the same.

L’emplacement est très sympa romantique surtout en hiver les lumières des lampions sur le lac sont magnifiques😊Belle chambre avec terrasse vue sur le lac! Le petit déjeuner très bien fourni beaucoup de choix!

Il y a de la poussière sur les éléments dans le coins des pièces..dommage pour ce tarif on s’attend à ce que ce sois Top et rien à dire mais les équipements sont abîmés coupés , troué, etc. Les allergènes des ingrédients servis au petit-déjeuner doivent être indiqués.

La chambre est tranquille, le lit très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est très complet. L’emplacement de l'hôtel près de Mulhouse et Colmar et de la route des vins. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil.

Etwas abseits vom Zentrum und gut für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Lage etwas abseits vom Zentrum (ca. 750 m), dadurch aber recht ruhig. Schön an einem Teich gelegen. Bad mit Badewanne, was für uns als Pilgerwanderer sehr erholsam war. Das Frühstück war vielfältig.

Überraschungsmoment, dass es im Restaurant trotz vorheriger Kommunikation kein a-la-carte Essen, sondern aufgrund von Personalproblemen ein Halbpensionsessen gab. Das 3-Gänge-Menü war einfach aber ok. Wir haben uns über die sehr gute Weinempfehlung der Dame des Hauses gefreut.

L hôtel est très bien situé et la nature c’est juste magnifique avec les signes et les canards

Ça fait plus des années qu’on vient dans cette hôtel , mais ça faisait 6 ans qu’on était pas venu et malheureusement dans la salle de bain c’est aujourd’hui le minimum, pas d’eau dans la chambre ni de verre , et le mur de la chambre s’effrite du à l humidité, il faudrait renouveler un peu les chambres. Sinon c’était super d’être de retour

Schöne ruhige Lage außerhalb des Ortes, an einem kleinen See. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und gut ausgestattet, obwohl durch die Wandfarbe und Ausstattung ziemlich dunkel ist. Das Bad ist modern und geräumig. Ein Restaurant ist auch vorhanden. Sehr angenehm nach einer langen Fahrt.

Das Frühstück könnte besser sein. Obwohl das Angebot umfangreich ist, ist nicht ausreichend ausgelegt wenn viele zum Frühstück gleichzeitig kommen.
