The room was great, clean and fully stocked. We did enjoy our stay but there were a couple of unfortunate instances. Door would not unlock upon arrival and had to be reset. Assistance was quick to resolve. Monday - Air conditioner would not cool. Reached out to contact number and owner was contacted and repairman scheduled. Taylor Heat AC company came out Monday about 5pm and was able to get AC unit working. No further issues. We were very nervous about elevator on our side of the property. My husband could quickly tell something was not right so we reported it to the property office. They were not surprised and commented they were in need of repair and upgrade. The very next morning after our walk, my husband and I were stuck in the elevator between the 2nd and 3rd floor for 45 minutes. Property maintenance could not access to the emergency override since that “key” was at another property site. Fire Dept was able to access and help us climb out. Elevator was out of service for a few a hours.

Everything was great. The only thing we struggled with was the ice maker. We couldn't figure out how to make it work and sent a message to the host through VRBO asking if there was a quick fix and did not receive a response. We bought a bag of ice. Problem solved.

Beautiful condo and beautiful beach. We were however, disappointed after a 10 hour drive, we had to wait 15 minutes for access. We were told we didnt pay for early check in, but could now pay, at 3:45 if we wanted to get in before 4:00. What a crock!! ive stayed in almost every rental available at Windjammer and never been asked to pay to get in early. We been contacted everytime and told the unit was ready and we could enter at our convenience. Usually between 1 and 2. This unit was ready, or we wouldnt have been offered to pay to get in. I guess those 15 minutes didnt make or break our vacation, but we were tired!!
