A spacious, clean room, and the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a very long time - including in my own house! If it wasn't for such an early start, I'd have stayed in all morning. I got down to breakfast about 50 minutes after it began and while there was plenty, it was already on the *warm* side rather than hot. But plenty of choice, and I left well-fed.

All was as expected and even exceeded expectations.

Open area, room I was in was close to reception

Cup used day before was placed as anew clean cup but it wasn’t, still had tea stains from being used the day before. Heating complicated to work out no clear instructions to follow. A bit cheesed off with the parking charge, think that’s a bloody cheek, if came again or stayed longer might park on the road outside!

Clean hotel friendly staff

Very clean areas and rooms. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable apart from the pillows. Shower is nice and powerful and toiletries provided. The rooms were a decent size as well.

Pillows were too firm for our liking. The hotel does a 2 firm and 2 soft pillow approach for the beds. Both myself and my partner prefer soft pillows and these were mainly lumpy. We did ring and ask reception the first night for 2 soft pillows but they couldn’t find them so we had to wait for housekeeping the next day. The staff did try and sort this out though so I can’t fault that. The heating system and cooling system was a bit fiddly and took most the visit to properly figure out. The room was always a good temperature though and we only stayed 2 nights so I imagine if we had of stayed longer we’d have got the hang of it quicker.

My room was an adjoining room with a locked door in the middle. Next door came in at half three in the morning and had an interesting chat about the evening they had before dropping off about 4.30!

The room and hotel were spotlesy clean, the staff friendly and professional. The room was the best we have stayed in (were away at least once a month) unusally it had lots of electrical sockets by both bedsides, we need these for CPAP machines, lots of room and a settee to relax and use for working on the table provided. I would choose this hotel chain over our other frequent Hilton. Sorry nearly forgot the free breakfast! Many Thanks to the staff

Easy access, very clean.

Breakfast area is too small for the number of guests, some of the cups and plates were chipped. The replenishment of food was very slow, but when it was added it was nice.

Good hotel and facilities, will stay again

Good location near the town centre a few minutes from A38. Room was very clean comfortable and well equipped with WiFi and endless hot water in the shower. 24 hour access with plenty of parking. Buffet breakfast was good. There is a cafe style menu available in the evenings if you don’t want to go out but there are also several restaurant chains just a few minutes away and a Morrisons supermarket.
