Friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable room, really good breakfast and great value for money.
I can't think of anything. I suppose location would be a problem if you wanted to walk in to Burton. On the other hand, you are close to the canal and Branston water park, where there are nice walks and there are out of town places to eat close by.

Good clean and comfortable hotel with excellent staff, plenty of parking, although at a fee if £5.00, and ideal location for visiting the alrewas area.
Plenty of local amenities available nearby in Burton.
The fact that a number of adult guests were allowed to walk around the restaurant area during breakfast in their nightwear (pyjamas etc) and the staff allowed them to do so. This is totally unacceptable and disgusting in my opinion as well as being an health and hygiene issue. This was the only bad point of the visit otherwise I would have scored 10 out of 10

Good value. £108 for a family of 4 inc breakfast was a good rate.
Hot water went off in the morning so couldn't shower.
Breakfast was very busy - very slow hot drink machine made for a very big queue
Staff seemed rushed off their feet and a little stressed. Possibly understaffed?
Not a smart TV so we couldn't cast our movies etc...
