Very nice hotel in the charming Deauville!

This hotel is at a perfect location, close to everything one might need in Deauville, including a supermarket right next door. the owner and the staff are super friendly, which is a huge advantage! The room was also comfortable and I slept well.

While the single room is quite comfortable and was perfect for my needs, it is a bit narrow. But otherwise has everything one might need.

The location

No air conditioning, no stores in the window, no elevator, the bed was uncomfortable and the lady in the reception made us wait for more than 15’ to finish her phone call.

Loved it and would highly recommend if staying in Deauville!

I liked it all and staff were super friendly and always helpful. Location was great and you can walk around easily. Supermarket 2 doors away so you can pick up goods for onward travel,great restaurant just across the road…

The only bing I would say that the bathroom needed another shelf to put your toiletries on but that’s a suggestion not a criticism at all

The stairs Can’t see what they could do about it and the lady was very helpful with the luggage But they are quite awkward and there isn’t a lift I’m pretty fit so it was ok but it could be an issue for others. And when she saw my better half was on crutches (accident), the lady quickly gave us a first floor room rather than the higher floor one she’d intended for us

Quaint building and friendly staff

First room up 3 flights of narrow old stairs. Roof windows so couldn't see out at all. very claustrophobic. Wifi not good- weak signal. Lady at desk changed room to ground floor (we booked a superior room and were expecting a garden view room) without any fuss. A quaint but tired room. No coffee/tea facilities.

Fantastic location, very close to Deauville race course, the town and the beach and marina.

The lady who ran the hotel went out of her way to help us secure a taxi back to the port after our pre booked car didn’t turn up. Without her help we would have missed our ferry.

Our room was fine but think next time we would upgrade to a better one.

Wonderful

The fluffiest towels, the best garden view, amazing airflow thru the three open windows, fabulous evening reading in the garden, loved the flower names and the very friendly reception. I wish we could have stayed for breakfast but realized last minute we had to rush to return the car rental. Amazing night- thank you so much.
