A good surprise for one of my first abroad business trip

Room size & equipments, cheerful staff, cleanliness of the facilities, room soundproof of the corridor and of the other rooms, some instant coffee/tea available for free in the room with a working kettle, a comfy chair in the room (not the usual uncomfortable desk chair that I saw in other hotels)

price of the underground parking, the elevator was cranky and its key pannel was broken (not really reassuring about its safety)

Breakfast very good Staff super nice Location fantastic Overall, a very good experience for the trip with my family. They also gave us a little present for our kids.

My stay was very good, no particular pain points. Rather small things, such as no fan in the toilette, air conditioning starting during the night, the sofa bed was not super comfortable

A bit pricey for what you get

The location is great - right in the centre of Mechelen and close to a bus stop. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet. Breakfast was great.

The room was fairly small. I also thought there was a strange smell in the corridors. I had an issue with AC - although I turned it off, it kept blowing cold air, so the room was chilly. Even when I tried to put it on 30 degrees, it was still blowing cold air. The receptionist said they could not do anything at the time. I hope they fixed it now.

Nice hotel in the center of beautiful Mechelen

Excellent location, within walking distance of everything. Spacious and quiet rooms. coffee and tea facilities in-room. Parking garage, Breakfast included in the price of good quality.

Parking garage available, but spaces are narrow and there are no charging points for EV car, that's a pity. Reasonably priced. Breakfast stops at 10 a.m. during weekdays. A bit early of you are on holidays :-)

The Staff were excellent. The young guy at reception when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. He took time using a map to describe places of interest in the City, which we used the following day.A lady at reception gave us bottles of water as we had to walk to the Station in hot weather.

Hotel is located in the Centre so there was a little bit of noise from the street at night, I’m sure other rooms are better located to avoid this potential problem.

Friendly staff, great location close to the centre, big, nice and comfortable room, abundant and varied breakfast. All in all, everything perfect for our weekend stay.

Great location directly in the city centre. Thks for flexibility with earlier breakfast.

GPS was lost in the streets of the centre and could not find a way to the hotel. Hope not to receive penslty for driving through forbiden zones.

One night but great stay

When I arrived to the hotel the receptionist was very nice and welcoming! I have had some questions and asked over booking.com app and they were very quick to reply! Comfy room and bed. Good breakfast.

Comfortable and nice

The hotel is very nice, central, large room, nicely decorated. There is a kettle in the room which I appreciated a lot. Breakfast is good. People are helpful and friendly. The hotel is central and close to a bus stop but train station is about 20 minutes away on foot and if you walk through the Bruul it's a very pleasant walk.

The room does not have a fridge. In summer it would be nice. The room does not have a wardrobe. It was not a problem for me especially since I was not carrying a lot of clothes. It has a few hangers.

Enjoyable place to have a weekend away.

Room was a reasonable size for a three night stay and very clean. Breakfast was a continental with a good choice just a little busy at times. Location was good, Mechelen-Nekkerspoel train station 10 minutes walk and Grote Markt a short walk with bars and restaurants.

Really nice hotel in the city center

The hotel is within walking distance from the train station and the city center. It is clean and modern. We got a room straight away even though we arrived way before the actual check-in time. The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good as well.

Breakfast and location

The receptionist was quite rude the next day. We asked for dental/shaving kits, and she seemed annoyed that we hadn't informed her of our demands beforehand, stating that all requests needed to be made in advance. Although she eventually provided us with the kits, her reaction was far from welcoming. Additionally, during the booking process, we were not informed about the parking rates or the availability of free parking nearby, making the parking option rather inconvenient.
