Coral Apartments

Location was perfect, really central. Immaculately clean, really clean and everything seemed either brand new or almost new. Very large apartment, with a big balcony and 2 bathrooms. Lots of power outlets and usb charging points. Air conditioning kept appt cool even though there was a heat wave. Hosts were extremely responsive , Giuseppe helped us when we accidentally locked ourselves out in the evening!

Only one key and key card. For a 2 bed, large property that sleeps 6, 2 keys are essential. We were 3 adults and were very restricted by the one key to access the property, it also resulted in us accidentally locking ourselves out and having to contact host ( who came as soon as was possible) Aircon in the first bedroom had a recurring issue where there was water leaking down the walls and the electric / light socket . Against giuseppe was really quick to respond and someone came out in the next day, but it happened again so the aircon ended up having to stay off in that bedroom.

This location is PERFECT!!!!! One block from the train station, on the main road to everything and not far from the elevator down to the port. This is a full on apartment with everything you need to be comfortable. We LOVED that it had a washer because this was a week into our trip when we arrived and really needed to wash a few things. And the balcony was great to dry our clothes on. The elevator was quick and didn't require closing doors or getting stuck on a floor like some places do. We will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we come in!

Fantastic location and bedrooms a good size.

The apartment is desperate need of maintenance. Advised managing agent of several issues when we first arrived. Kitchen cupboard fell off when opened (they did fix this whilst we were there). The apartment has a constant smell of sewage - again agent advise they were aware of this and it is a ‘building issue’ and can not be fixed. The smell is so bad we had to leave windows open at night but then the street noise is very evident. The door onto the patio would not close as it was broken at the bottom hinge - agent advised this was a major repair and couldn’t be fixed before we arrived. Electrical problems when plugging in the kettle etc. Just lots of issues. Given the price of this apartment to rent these issues should be fixed before taking tourist money. Unacceptable.
