Campo de Ourique Premium

Our family of 4 had a great stay in this quiet neighborhood, away from the busy tourist centre. The two-bedroom layout was perfect for us and our kids, who were glad to each have their own twin-sized bed. The kitchen facilities plus local grocery shops made it easy to prepare simple meals for ourselves. The small balcony is lovely for two people to sit and enjoy a city view including the Estrela church steeple. The bathroom was perfectly functional, plus a great view of the bridge from the shower! The air conditioning unit cooled the living room and the host provided a standing fan for the bedroom. Laundry machine was convenient, clothes could be hung in the closet or out the window to dry. We enjoyed the market dining nearby and the wonderful Jardim de Estrela park, which is a perfect place to pass a few hours with kids. You can hop on the tram or a bus from here to go downtown in 15 minutes, a scenic ride in style. Highly recommend.

The host was helpful and our check in/out all went smoothly. The building and unit doors are opened with old fashioned keys, a bit finicky to twist just right. To lock the unit from the inside you need to use the key. If my memory is correct, there are about 90 steps total from the street level up to the unit. Once you get adjusted, you will have a wonderful stay.

This property is about the location and the property manager. You are near several good restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. the famous Tram 28 is nearby, and you have access to other bus lines. My teens liked going to the Mercado ( 5 minutes away) to order food from the different stands. The view(s) from the apartment are breathtaking (the basilica, the river and the bridge). The place is spacious with a fully stacked kitchen and a modern shower/bathroom). It was nice to have two separate bedroom and nice dinner table area. We appreciated Helena's help during the entirety of our stay. She answered our questions and made our stay more relaxing. She was waiting for us super early in the morning when we arrived (left our bags while the cleaning crew did the work) and kept our bags until later when we left early afternoon for our departure. This place is ideal for visitors who want to experience Portugal living among the locals.

El apartamento está perfectamente equipado y tiene unas vistas soberbias sobre el río y el puente. El barrio es muy agradable: tranquilo, pero lleno de vida vecinal, mucha variedad de tiendas, y comunicación rápida y directa con el centro en bus y tranvía. La anfitriona, Helena, nos dio toda la información requerida y se esforzó para hacer nuestra estancia más agradable.

Bien qu'un peu vieillissant et situe au 3e et dernier étage d'un immeuble sans ascenseur l’appartement est très attachant. des la porte de l’immeuble franchi,nous entrons la, dans une autre dimension ,apres quelques volees de marches d’un magnifique escaliers de bois comme l’on en fait plus nous arrivons dans un logement lumineux ,bien equipe ou immediatement nous nous sentons bien. Nous avons apprecier la grandeur de celui-ci,sa petite terasse ou il fait bon prendre son ptit dejeuner avec une vue exeptionnelle sur le pont de lisbonne (replique de celui de san fransisco)ainsi que sur le christ rois (Rio de Janero). Nous avons aimer : - Un quartier,vivant,populaire au tres nombreuses comoditees: commerces,marche,placette,restaurants,cafes ect .. - La praticite pour rejoindre le centre ville de lisbonne avec la fameuse ligne 28E ( moins de 100 metres de l’appartement ). Et ce que j'ai gardé pour la fin, nous avons très apprécié l’extreme disponibilité et gentillesse d'Elena qui nous a accueilli et conseiller tout au long de notre escapade à Lisbonne.

La durée trop courte de notre séjour qui ne nous aura pas permis de tout visiter et qui certainement va nous obliger à revenir pour parfaire la connaissance de cette magnifique capitale qui a tant à nous offrir.
