About this cabin rental
Experience the grandeur of the Great Smoky Mountains in Mountain Haven. Perched high atop Gatlinburg, this luxurious Gatlinburg cabin offers sweeping, panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Mt LeConte. Kick back and relax in the rockers or in the hot tub overlooking the most breathtaking views of The Great Smoky Mountains has to offer, cook together in the large well-equipped kitchen, play and sing together at the piano, watch the 82" TV, play on the arcade machines and shuffle-puck table, or enjoy a game of pool.
Our location puts you in the center of everything you might want to do without placing you in the heavy traffic of the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. There are multiple back road options between here and Pigeon Forge without having to be on the main traffic patterns. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, 20 minutes from Dollywood's gates, 15 minutes from the Pigeon Forge strip, and 20 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg.
The Gatlinburg trolley has a free parking lot 3 minutes from the cabin for those not wanting to drive themselves. The trolleys cover all of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions.
The cabin features 6 king master bedroom suites, all with king beds. Each bedroom has a 43" flat-screen Smart TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need to cook that great meal. The cabin offers a full game room featuring an 82" 4K TV, musical instruments (piano, banjo, guitar, two ukuleles), pool table, Xbox One, multicade arcade, air hockey, board games, wifi, premium cable, and more. All of this is just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and multiple entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Mountain Haven, where eagles soar, and guests marvel at the beauty of the Great Smokies! The cabin also has a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience.
We decorate the cabin for the different seasons, including holiday decorations featuring a gorgeous 9' Red Spruce from Balsam Hill.

A note regarding the security deposit: A day before check-in, we place a $300 hold on your credit card (just like when you check in at a hotel). If there are no damages or excessive cleaning needed, the hold is released after your stay. The vast majority of our guests are very responsible, so it is rare for us not to release the hold in full.
Pets authorized on a case-by-case basis – please inquire. Each pet will also incur an additional cleaning fee and an increased security deposit.

The cabin was exceptional. The views are spectacular at every level. The cabin was clean, the host were always available and replied immediately. I see why they have a "10" rating. As everything advertised is on point. We each had our own room and shower. Each level had a deck and large sitting area. If you rent this hime make sure you read and follown directions concerning the bears around this time because they are around and will come for a visit. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again to Markus and Anne for there hospitality !!!

My guests and I happily returned to the cabin for the 2nd year in a row and were again absolutely thrilled! The cabin is clean, inviting, and has everything you could ask for. Markus is an amazing host who kept in regular communication and was always willing to get anything we needed. Could not ask for a better getaway experience!
