Kamakura COCON

What a wonderful place to stay in Kamakura! The traditional Japanese atmosphere, with its beautiful garden and thoughtful design, made us feel calm the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, cozy and full of character, and the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The absolute highlight was the dinner. The COCON tasting menu was a true culinary journey, creatively blending Japanese seasonal ingredients with European finesse. From the delicate mackerel with winter melon and the turban shells with wild mushrooms to the perfectly charcoal-grilled wagyu beef, every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The muscat grape and mozzarella ice cream was a wonderful surprise, and the coffee by coffee hunter Kawashima was the perfect finish. You can feel the passion and care that goes into every dish. The location is ideal for exploring Kamakura's temples, shrines and charming streets. It felt like a peaceful retreat while still being close to everything.

Honestly, nothing. Our only regret is that we booked just one night. Next time we'll definitely stay longer!

スタッフの皆さんが素晴らしかったです。 フルサービスで、本当に贅沢な時間やサービスを提供いただきました！駅からも送迎していただいたり、女将さんをはじめスタッフ皆さんに、親切にそして丁寧におもてなしをしていただきました。 お部屋は、本当に素敵で、時間いっぱいお部屋で過ごさせていただきました。お庭を眺めるぼーっとする時間が最高でした。

Loved our suite and the garden. Design is fantastic and comfortable. Also really enjoyed the chef' creations which I would compare to a Michelin star restaurant.

Nothing - fantastic stay

古民家をリノベーションした作りで落ち着きがあり、 お庭にはお花が咲き小鳥達の囀り、蝶、トンボが飛んで 自然を堪能しのんびり出来ました。 食事も夕食はイタリアンですが和のペイストを含み色々な食材を使いとても美味しかったです。 朝食はレインボーファームさんの新鮮なお野菜を使い品数も 多く感動でした。

車で伺いましたが通りからの入り口が分かりづらい事と道が狭いので車の運転に注意が必要です。
