About this cottage rental
La Cabana is an old farmhouse located on the outskirts of Casserres, a village in the Berguedà region. It has been completely renovated and restored in the traditional style of the period. It is located 1 km from the town center, surrounded by nature.
It features a spacious first floor with a beautiful historic entrance and a room for playing ping-pong. Right next door is a large, multipurpose annex measuring 100 m² with a barbecue, ideal for large groups.
On the first floor, there is a kitchen, a living-dining room with a fireplace, two double bedrooms and one triple bedroom, and a shared bathroom. On the second floor, there are four more double bedrooms and a large living room with another fireplace. All bedrooms have their own bathroom.
Outside, completely surrounded by fields, the property offers several areas: a large garden with a private outdoor pool, a restroom right next to it, a private paddle tennis court, and a large outdoor area with a basketball hoop, a soccer goal, and swings. Additionally, there is private parking for all guests’ cars.
From the house, you can take many walking excursions to visit charming spots such as the Font dels Pagesos, the Alzina Grossa, the Bauma de les set portes, and the Roques de la Madrona. You can also walk to the village of Casserres, where there are local grocery stores.
Furthermore, we are very committed to recycling, and to ensure that everyone takes responsibility for disposing of the waste they’ve generated during their stay in the designated waste area located in the village before leaving the house, we charge a €50 security deposit, payable in cash upon arrival at the house.
If we do not find any trash or waste in the house when you check out, we will refund the 50€.

This was the perfect place for celebrating my Mother's 75th birthday with the family. She invited us to spend a week in La Cabana. We all arrived at Friday afternoon from Belgium and The Netherlands, some of us by plane, it's just a little more than 1 hour from the airport, some of us by car, some of us already spent some time in the area.
We were with 12 people. Also 2 dogs joined the party. We cooked, we talked, we laughed, we sang, we played and we swam. Walking the dogs in the morning through the hills, we had great fun playing padel and cooled down in the pool until late in the evening. We went out for 1 day to Barcelona, and 1 day to Andorra. Each morning we bought fresh bread and had a coffee in the charming old centre of the village Casserres, only a 10 minute walk away. The last day we enjoyed a lovely paella lunch at restaurant La Plaça. The week was too short...
