Escapade Familiale à Grenelle

La ubicación es buena, está a unos 20 minutos andando de la Torre Eiffel, con varias líneas de metro cerca. La zona de aparcamiento es de pago (salvo los domingos). El apartamento, aunque pequeñito, contaba con dos dormitorios y dos baños (todo mini, eso sí) y estaba bien equipado con todo lo necesario.

El edificio donde se ubica el apartamento es viejo y no hay ascensor (tuvimos que subir 4 pisos). Las instrucciones para el check in no fueron muy claras, ya que hay que dirigirse a la recepción del Hotel Rouse Bourbon, que se encuentran en la esquina de la calle, junto a la entrada al edifico donde se están los apartamentos.

Location was great with a little park right next to the hotel. This apartment is attached to a hotel. Reception area was inviting and stylish. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. No early check in was available and we were tired, but check in was ready at 3p.m. The apartment itself is fine. Small and a shower in one of the rooms was almost directly next to the bed but good enough for a short stay and a good value.

I think this stay may have been okay in the winter. However, I do not recommend this apartment during the summer if it's hot. There was only one A/C unit in the living room area and the tube had to be put out of the window. We couldn't open the curtains because the hot air from the open window would come in. The other bedrooms had no A/C. It was very hot. Also, I knew there were stairs but didn't know there were 8 flights (4 floors). No elevator. Very difficult in the heat. If one person left another person had to go all the way down 8 flights of stairs to let them in. In addition, upon check out they didn't ask us for the apartment keys (they're real keys - no key pad) even though I asked if we were all set. We accidentally took them, so we had to pay $30 to express mail them back to Paris. Last, they also told us they had ordered us our cab as requested to take us to the train but it wasn't ordered and didn't show up when we needed to leave which almost caused us to miss our train. Overall I wouldn't stay here again.
