La Fenice is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - waking up each morning to that view will stay with me forever!
The outside spaces are fabulous and our kids (aged 9 and 7) particularly loved the pool. The apartment was clean and reasonably well equipped. Franca was a lovely host - kind and friendly, but not intrusive at all.
The location is great for exploring the area. Within walking distance (15-20 mins) there is the harbour and 'beaches' (stoney but lovely swimming in the sea). The walk home is uphill but along quiet paths. It is uneven in places though so not suitable for those with mobility needs. We can thoroughly recommend the Funiculi Funicular and Da Michele restaurants.
We loved our week at La Fenice and really hope we'll be back one day.
The air conditioning in the main bedroom didn't work as well as in the living room. This wasn't a massive problem though and we left the bedroom door open during the day to cool down.

La localisation, la vue sur le Vésuve aussi bien depuis le lit que des 4 terrasses à différents niveaux, le barbecue, la piscine, et les couchers de soleil
Tout est propre et bien entretenu.
C’est très agréable de passer quelques jours à la Fenice et en partir est triste
Les oreillers sont vraiment à changer. Et la seconde chambre est sans fenetre malheureusement. Mais tout cela s’efface grâce à la beauté du site.

Poolen var helt perfekt efter dagarnas små vandringar. Väl fungerande arrangemang, utrustat kök, välstädat, allt fungerade precis som tänkt.
Trots att vattenledning brustit och hela kommunen stått utan vatten i två dagar träder vår land-lady (Franka) in som en hjälte och försåg oss med vatten och det vi behövde.

The small pool and the different terraces with a spectacular view from all of them.
The master bed is really comfortable.
The appartement had a bit of a mouldy smell especially the second bedroom and under the sink.
There are no windows in the second bedroom and no airconditioning neither. The beds in the second bedroom are not that comfortable.
The fridge and oven were somewhat dirty and all tabletops were in need of a wipe-over.
The bathroom was very small and there were nowhere to hang or lay your towel and clothes while showering.
Airconditioning in living room area worked fine and looked new - or at least not as old as the one in the master bedroom. The airconditioning in there didn't work untill hosts used half an hour working on it. You would think that they could afford buying a new one with that overprice you pay for the stay here.
There are 300m to the water in a straight line, but walking takes 30-40min. And thats just to the small habour.
Kitchen area is small and poorly equipped. Eg. only 4 regular glasses, no sharp knives and no cheese grator.
