Stray Cat Hostel

Cats in the property, staff - they are so nice and friendly!! The design of the facility, many drawings and paintings on the walls, looks amazing! The breakfast made by the staff was also very good and traditional for Costa Rica!

I see the towel is included in the property description, so i think it should be provided to the guests without them asking for it

Close to bus station which was convenient for onward travel

Really fun vibe, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Breakfast being included was an absolute bonus. The location made it a good choice, though walking there from the bus station was a bit.. sketchy. The bathroom facilities were excellent, I was very pleased with that. Having cats roam around freely was very nice, it added a nice touch to the side. It's otherwise accessible and a fun place to be.

The room was a bit underwhelming. I wasn't expecting a lot, but having a screen/mesh on the window isn't unreasonable, is it's the only form of air circulation. There was no fan available, which i thought was strange. It was suffocating and hot, so you have no choice but to open the window. The exposed window welcomed any critter at free will. Going to bed, I was startled i noticed a roach on the side table. I took a video in disbelief. I felt incredibly uncomfortable in the room, and questioned cleanliness of my bedding and room. This was incredibly disturbing.
