To Stolidi tis Psinthou

Nel villaggio di Psinthos, immerso nel verde, in un contesto rurale e molto curato, il nostro alloggio nella suite Kalliopi è stato perfetto. Michalis è una persona gentilissima (così come lo staff della sua taverna, in piazza, che consiglio caldamente di provare!). All’interno della casa c’è tutto, comfort assicurato, la posizione comoda per raggiungere le più belle spiagge dell’isola, per vedere i tramonti a ovest, per visitare la città di Rodi. Considerare circa 20/30 min per raggiungere le varie destinazioni. Auto indispensabile. Siamo super soddisfatti!

Everything we wanted from our center of the island stay. Warmest welcome from our hosts, comfortable room with all you would require to stay from washing machine to ironing board; even providing beach umbrella, very well equipped kitchen. Their restaurant has been our holiday favourite, would definitely recommend.

The only hiccup would be hearing the early morning singing roosters through closed windows. It is part of the experience!

We loved being away from busy tourist areas. The town is located in the mountain pass and about 20min drive from Faliraki. We had a car, so we purposefully chose a location in the mountains. We loved the BBQ facilities and the whole place is very new. The owner and staff were very friendly and professional. The self-catering facilities were also more than adequate. There re about 6 or 8 so chalets on the property, but you never feel like you are in other people's space. Our son (5yrs) also loved exploring outside, and because the entire property is fenced in and the outside/garden areas are well maintained and clean we felt a bit more at ease to allow him to "go on his own" and enjoy himself without having to be right next to him at all times.

If you don't have a car, you might struggle with public transport. If you want a vibey night life you might be bored at night. But for us the "sleepy" village was perfect.
