Ito Ryokan

This was the most phenomenal stay we ever had. The staff took care of my son who had a broken arm, they prepared special meals, brought him a pillow and treated him like a king. We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment and the facilities were beyond our expectations. There was a choice of pillows, luxury shower and impeccable cleanliness. I have travelled and lived all over the world, but I have never seen such warm hospitality, beautiful rooms and clean spaces. The breakfast was phenomenal as well. We are so thankful to the ryokan staff and their amazing kindness.

Ito Ryokan is a hidden gem tucked away in a charming neighborhood, ideally located near the traditional shops along Amazake Yokocho, affordable local restaurants, Mommy Laundry (a convenient coin-operated laundromat), 7-Eleven, and Ningyocho Station. We stayed in the Annex Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with a modern bathroom. The traditional Japanese breakfast served each morning was fresh, healthy, and delicious—a wonderful way to start each day. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay. Ito Ryokan strikes a wonderful balance between authentic Japanese hospitality, modern comforts, and everyday convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

There was really nothing I disliked about our stay. My only suggestion would be to include more detailed information about station exits in the pre-arrival email, specifically identifying those closest to the ryokan (A1 and A3) as well as those with elevator access (A3 and A6). This small but thoughtful detail would be especially helpful for guests traveling with luggage, making their journey to and from the ryokan much easier and more convenient.

Traditional ryokan in Nihonbashi, staff was very friendly and helpful (they contacted me as i left important documents in the room safe and kept them for me until i went back to Tokyo a couple of weeks later). The ryokan is not far from metro stations(different lines) whcih provides an easy access to different parts of Tokyo. Tokyo Station is within easy reach, 10 minutes by taxi. There is a 7/11 is around the corner as well as a few restaurants.
