Two storey semi-detached cottage with great living room area, fully equipped kitchen featuring all amenities. Two bedrooms (1 master bedroom ,1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk-beds) in the upstairs floor and two bathrooms, one on each floor. Great outdoors space with large BBQ and adjacent dinning area. Very nice house located in a traditional village. Very quiet place not far from the beaches and a golf course (15 mn for both) by car and with a beautiful view on the sea. As it is the third time we go to this house I can say it is a perfect house with all what is needed and even more.

The old house is supplied with everything necessary. But not only this, threre are many personal pieces of equipment, that make a pleasant atmosphere. The garden is beautiful and in good order. The little village is nice and calm. Nevertheless you have the choice of 4 tavernas. We preferred to cook in the well supplied kitchen. Check in with the help of an video was easy.

A real touch of a Greek small village with a superb view towards sea, hills with olive trees and sun

The house has a real and nice time footprint with everything necessary for a perfect accommodation. A very nice and welcoming garden with grapes, flowers and a superb view over the whole gulf between Kassandra and Sithonia braces. Thomas, the owner, is a very nice person, very responsive, crisp messages, shorter than usual Greek style :) and a lot of useful information: places, pharmacies, doctors, beaches, sights, supermarkets, etc. Besides the original Greek vibe and the incredible location on the hill above the sea, there are also 2 nearby tavernas with meat based dishes if the guests are not in the mood to go (app 15 minutes drive) to Neos Marmaras restaurants which also serve fresh fish and fresh seafood. An alternative for us was to buy fresh fish and seafruits from the town (there are more than 4 places where they sell fresh fish and seafruits) and cook them at the barbeque which is a state of the art enterprise, with ventilator for smoke, huge grill for meat and fish, lights, washing place, garbage bin and absolutely everything necessary to prepare the fire. We would recommend this place for any family or group of friends who are searching for a nice and relaxing place in a nice and small original Greek village with a nice garden and an incredible sightseeing.

Parthenonas is an old village, way up the hill from the tourist hustle and bustle. If you are a city dweller like I, the quiet will overwhelm you. The environment is truly rustic (with modern conveniences installed). Yet you are within 5 minute drive from Nea Marmaras - one of Sithonia seaside resort towns with shopping, boat trips, stores and supermarkets accessed easily. This property gives you a chance to enjoy the best of both modern and traditional worlds. Add a very sophisticated tavern right at your doorstep with excellent wine selection and excellent command of Greek cuisine, a tavern, mind you, with a solid local tradition and a breathtaking view from its terrace,.a tavern that is never noisy - and you will understand my wish to stay and never go back to what we consider normal life these days.

Location: Parthenonas is probably the most beautiful village in Halkidiki, lined with cobblestone alleys and stone built houses with great sea view. It is away from the mass tourism paths, which makes it quiet and peaceful even in the high season. There are two taverns and a couple of cafe-bars in the village. The obvious implication for the logistics is that Parthenonas is away from the sea (nearest beach 10-15 minutes drive, and many fabulous beaches within 30-40min drive), and equally away from all amenities, so you need a car practically for everything. Property: The property is a renovated semi-detached, which maintains many original features. It is very tastefully decorated, and includes practically everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The ground floor living room and kitchen are a bit on the dark side, but the fabulous patio and outdoor living space more than makes up for it. The layout (1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds) make the property suitable for a couple or a family (even a big one) but probably less suitable for two couples. Note that the beautiful wooden floor does not provide any privacy between the ground floor and the upper floor. The house was really quiet, except for Saturday evening, where the nearby tavern held an event with live music. During our stay, nobody stayed at the adjacent semi-detached, so we cannot judge if the next-door neighbors would be heard. In any case this property is much more quiet than what you can usually find in Halkidiki. The bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, which did a good job, but not with air conditioning. This may be an issue on a very hot summer day, but was not an issue on a normally hot summer day. The property is equipped with mosquito nets on all openings, which effectively keep insects outside. The property was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and was cleaned once more during our 5-night stay. Upon arrival the owner supplied us with provisions "for our first breakfast", which were actually enough for much more than that. The owners: The owner and his sister, who welcomed us, were very friendly and helpful. Before arrival and during check in we were provided with enough information for our stay. During our stay the owner was always accessible by phone or mail, and even proactively arranged to solve a problem with the water supply before us alerting him. Overall impression: a great vacation, highly recommended- we had a wonderful time!

Parthenonas is a lovely an quiet village, 320 m above the sea, with a fantastic view only 8 minutes drive from Neos Marmaras. The architecture of the whole village is traditional, almost all the houses are renovated and preserved in the same stile. While talking a walk in the narrow streets you can feel like time has stopped. The property is well situated for seeing the whole peninsula of Sithonia, obviously by car. The owner was very helpful. He gave us a list of places to see and a list of beeches in Sithonia, this was great, we managed to see almost all of them in 10 days. The property is very well equipped, it has a real charm and it is very quiet. Also very clean and well maintained. The sitting area with the BBQ and the oven, right outside the house, is the highlight of the place. We bought fresh fish from Neos Marmaras and spent some nights at the house and it was great. Also the sitting area inside is very cozy and the collection of Greek music available was great. We were 4 adults and one child and the house was perfect for us but there is room for more. I would truly recommend this property.

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich im Bergdorf Parthenonas in einer absolut ruhigen Gegend, sehr erholsam! Die Bilder im Inserat stimmen absolut überein. (Wäsche- und Handtuchwechsel aller 5 Tage!) Das Haus ist eine wunderschöne Kombination aus altem, historischen Gebäude und moderner Sanierung (Fenster, Türen, Dusche usw.)! Überall sind Fliegen(Mücken)-Gitter installiert. Die Deckenventilatoren sind sinnvoll. Demnächst wird auch noch eine Klimaanlage installiert (Technik ist bereits im Haus), was das ganze perfekt macht. Wir haben uns überwiegend im Garten aufgehalten, der dazu auch einlädt. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen! (Im Übrigen ist die Kommunikation mit Thomas hervorragend!)

Easy contact to the landlord. Fridge was filled when we arrived. I absolutly loved the fresh towels and sheets every 4 days. Felt like in a Hotel. Everything is exatly how described and to be seen on the pictures. We had wonderful 14 days in Parthenonas! Thank you Thomas!

Its a beautiful house, perfect for a quiet retreat with friends or your family. Though we expected Parthenonas to be a bit more alive we still had a great stay there. The house and the garden made it really worthwhile. There was a barbecue and a small garden, that was great for our family to spend time with. The house was clean and spacious. The kids didnt want to leave in the end. The little Tavern next to the house played traditional music on weekends. A perfect spot to check out beaches nearby and still live in a beautiful home that has some history. We didnt like the new buildings along the coast of Sithonia much, thats why it seemed a perfect combination to live in Thomas' stone house and still visit the beaches that are only 10 minutes away! Thanks Thomas for letting us stay in your beautiful house. We highly recommend a stay there!

Wir (Familie mit 2 großen Kindern) sind immer auf der Suche nach dem schönsten Ferienhaus. Dieses hier kommt auf jeden Fall unter unsere Top Ten! Der Ablauf sehr unkompliziert trotz verspäteter Ankunft. Das Haus: ein Traum, der Service stand dem in Nichts nach. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt und nach 4 Tagen gab es bereits eine Reinigung inkl. Handtuchwechsel. In den Genuss sind wir zum ersten Mal gekommen. Wir waren viel unterwegs ( Mietwagen ist Pflicht) und haben uns jeden Abend darauf gefreut in das schönste aller Dörfer zurückkehren zu dürfen. Auch der nächstgelegene Küstenort Neos Marmaras gehört zu den schöneren der Halkidiki. Für den nächsten Trip würden wir uns allerdings vorab eine Wanderkarte der Region besorgen. Das gestaltete sich vor Ort sehr schwierig. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit allem was für uns dazu gehört. Berge, Strand, Kultur. Wir fühlen uns in Griechenland immer sehr willkommen. Vielen Dank dafür!

Bei der Ankunft würden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Vermieter hatten uns sogar für das Frühstück bereits eingekauft. Wasser gab es ebenfalls kostenlos. 👍🏼😊 Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar wenn etwas nicht passen sollte. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet sowohl die Innen-als auch die Aussenküche. Duschgel und Shampoo wird ebenfalls gestellt. Man hat hier eine absolute Ruhe und ist in dem schönen Bergdorf in der Natur. Angst vor allerlei Tierchen darf man hier nicht haben 😉 Es gibt zwei schöne Tavernen hier ansonsten muss man für jegliche Einkäufe ca. 10 min runter in den Ort fahren. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft: sehr viel Charme, viel Natur, super Ausstattung, sehr guter Service (inkl. "Zimmerservice" alle 4 Tage und Gärtner), ein netter und sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Kurz: wir hatten als Familie wohl noch nie so viel Glück mit einer Unterkunft gehabt wie mit dieser. We had a fantastic week in the house of Thomas and his wife in Parthenonas, the most beautiful village in Sithonia - as we found. It is just 5 km to the coast and Neos Marmaras and you are within olive trees and many hiking / wandering ways that just start before the door. In the garden lots of plants were already blooming and we had a wonderful view over Kassandra until mount Olymp with sunset every evening. The outdoor kitchen was very inviting for barbecue and having dinner there. Within the house there was enough fire wood for the fire place and central heating which was great for us as the days were still cold in the morning and in the night. Thomas and his wife were very nice, gave us a good instruction in the beginning and helped us answering our many questions concerning fishing etc. They even filled the fridge with a full breakfast for the first day incl. a bottle of loca wine which we had never before anywhere in this world. So thanks again to Thomas and his wife and all the best for the future. Yours Dana and family (5 alltogether)

We've spent 8 nights at the end of October/beginning of November in Parthenonas and we've had a very relaxing holiday. Thomas and his wife were phantastic hosts, always available for any questions. The house is very cosy, has a central heating and an open fire place, which have been only necessary in the evening and morning. The weather was still very nice, so we went to the beaches at noon and enjoyed the sun. And very often we were the only ones on the beach. Partenonas is also a very nice place for hiking in this season, that's why the restaurants and coffee bars are still open. All in all, we spent a phantastic time and can really recommend the house!

In August 2016 we spent a week in Parthenonas in the beautiful Cottage of Thomas! What ca I say: it was really amazing. The small moutain village Parthenonas is simply gorgeous. So is the house! With a very traditionell architecture and interiour we felt very comfortable from the first second. The house is very well equipped, clean and has everything you need (and more than that). We especially enjoyed the outside kitchen and the beautiful garden with it's wonderful seaview. With only a 10-15min drive from the coastline and "holliday infrastructure" (super markets, bakeries etc.) the location is very convenient. Also the drive to Parthenonas accros regional olive plantations is worth a few stops. Some traditional Taverns are just next door. On top of that Thomas was extremely friendly and helpful making our trip that beautiful. He gave us tips on local wines, beaches and infrastructure. Also he gave us a very warm welcome during our arrival. All in all: 10 out of 10 Points!!! I would recommend the house to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, calm and traditional spot in the nature with close distance to the beach and very friendly and uncomplicated hosts. We will definitely come back! Thanks Thomas!

Wir sind Ende September in das Landhaus gekommen. Buchung und Vorlauf waren sehr angenehm, der Vermieter hat uns sehr viel hilfreiche Informationen über Anreise und Aufenthalt gegeben. Er war für uns immer erreichbar. Das Landhaus ist ein komplett renoviertes altes Steinhaus mitten in den Olivenhainen. Das Wohnhaus hat eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. 2 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder sind vorhanden. Der Wohnbereich ist sehr gemütlich. Die Bettwäsche wurde gestellt und nach 4 Tagen neu bezogen. Auch Handtücher und Badetücher für Bad und Strand waren verfügbar. 2 mal pro Woche kommt eine Haushälterin. Der Garten und die Terrassen sind klasse. Wir haben immer draußen gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Der Urlaub war sehr gelungen. Das kleine Landhaus mit seinen vielen Antiquitäten ist trotzdem sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Aufenthalt war total unkompliziert und angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben immer draußen gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Tagsüber sind wir nach Neos Marmaras gefahren, ca. 5 Autominuten. Dort gibt es einen herrlichen Sandstrand, weiter nördlich sind kleine Badebuchten. In Neos Marmaras gibt es auch viele gute Restaurants. Wir sind abends meist zum Essen dorthin gefahren. Der Urlaub war sehr gelungen. Das kleine Landhaus mit seinen vielen Antiquitäten ist trotzdem sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Aufenthalt war total unkompliziert und angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben Ende September 2015 eine Woche in dem Landhaus in Parthenonas verbracht. Das Landhaus liegt 5 Autominuten vom Hauptort Neos Marmaras entfernt mitten in den Olivenhainen. Sehr idyllisch. Das Haus ist ein komplett saniertes altes Landhaus. 2 Badezimmer und eine komplett eingerichtete Küche sind vorhanden , 2 Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt 6 Betten. Es ist alles sehr ordentlich und geschmackvoll, teilweise mit schönen alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Trotzdem sehr modern. Bettwäsche wurde gestellt und bach 4 Tagen gewechselt. Auch Handtücher für Bad und Strand waren verfügbar. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen Garten und mehrere Terrassen. Wir haben immer im Freien gegessen. In direkter Umgebung sind Wanderwege in den Olivenhainen. In Neos Marmaras sind sehr schöne große Strände. Kleinere Buchten sind nördlich, mit dem Auro ca. 10 Minuten. Oben im Ort sind 2 Lokake, wir haben aber abends immer in Neos Marmaras gegessen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit falls Probleme auftauchen sollten, wir hatten aber keine Probleme. Ohne eigenes Auto ist die Wohnung zu weit weg vom Strand und Hauptort. Mit Auto ist es ein Traumhaus. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.
