Koh Phaluai beach cottage

The place was a little piece of paradise. The location is amazing, the bungalows are very clean with comfortable beds and air conditioning. They are located literally in front of the sea so you can wake up and have your coffee directly with your feet in the sand.

Welcome to paradise! New bungalows, lovely staff and a beautifull shared garden. There is a kayak, lots of hammocks, beach vibes, little farm and café. Breakfast is amazing with all kinds of homemade bread, pancakes, ricesoup etc. We stayed jn the big bungalow, there are also cute bamboo and a bigger house on the beach. The bed was amazing! The family can organise all sorts of activities around the Island. Hike, boattour to the park or around the island. Or you can rent a motorbike and go on adventure in this quit and amazing island. The hornbrills are everywhere and the locals are taking care of the island. There are some little restaurants as well and get some smoothies at other homestays.

Nothing! Just prepare yourself and leave plastic at home and go a ATM before you enter the island.

We loved being here. We stayed in the beach cottage that had a lovely and private view at the beach, an outside seating area and good beds! It was a bit cosy with two adults and a child but there was enough storage place either outside or in the bathroom. The shower, both the inside as outside one, was good, although the temperature could not be set. I assume it was sun heated, so warm during the day and cold in the evening, but nothing is better than a cold shower after a long day in the heat. Waking up in the company of hornbill birds was an amazing experience! The owners can arrange everything for you, and therefore, despite limited infrastructure, you can easily spend 4-7 days here. A private tour through the marine park, a hike up the mountain (which we had to skip because our son was sick), visiting various beautiful beaches. As a bonus you can get a massage there as well, with the best view ever! We took a private longtail boat back to shore because we wanted to leave earlier than the ferry did, and they arranged that as well. The restaurant has a large variety of dishes and they are all amazing (we tried many)! You can really feel the owners care for this place and their guests. Every morning and evening the besch is cleaned (which unfortunately is needed with all the plastic bottles in the sea) and they are available for questions 24/7 (i guess, i did not tried it in the middle of the night ;-))
