Vinea Resort

The bed was queen-sized. The shower was large and water pressure was strong.. There was a large space in the shower to put makeup on. They provided a cot free of charge. There's a small balcony space facing the pool. The hotel ground is wide, aside from the pool, they have a few animals in the back which is nice for kids (white peacock, horses, goats, and rabbits). And a large playground was also available. There were free 2 bottles of water in the room, and a few drinks in the fridge that you can take for a cheap price. And the restaurant downstairs can take orders to your room. Parking had a lot of spaces.

There's no lifts. It takes a while for hot water to come in the shower and there's was no hot water in the sink. They provided 3 bath towels and 2 robes but no bath mat and hand towels (for 2 adults and a baby as guests). The doors leading to the balcony does not lock so be careful if you have young children. Also, it isn't soundproof and you will hear the music blasting from the poolside from 9am and people talking late at night. On the booking website, they said the pool was closed- so we didn't pack our swimsuits, only to find out it is open. They told us breakfast was served 8-11am. Service is very slow since there were only 2 waiters serving the pool side and all the tables. We ordered at 1000am and were told by 1030am that they don't have almost all of the breakfast menu available. The poached egg on the toast wasn't done right. It was 11am when we got only the fried doughnuts. The poolside have cabanas which were not free for hotel guests, you have to pay 50 euros.

I loved the architecture and design of the resort, especially the pool area. The experience was memorable. Location near to beautiful Durrës where we went for an excursion.

We had a bit of a challenge communicating in english with the junior staff, although the receptionist and head waiters communicated well. House keeping needs to be more efficient

Veneer resort is clean, comfortable, and modern. Our stay was relaxing. The staff was quite helpful with any questions we had and they were polite and always rated help.

Lovely surroundings. Situated on a vineyard and within walking distance to other vineyards such as Abaia. Also has a nice restaurant - we had a really delicious lunch there with great tasting wine and enjoyed nice afternoon by the pool on comfortable sunbeds. They also do a delicious breakfast that they kindly made early to take away so we could catch our flight.

We stayed here on the last night of our holiday before an early flight. We were hoping to get a good night sleep but unfortunately the bar played really loud music until the early hours so we had a terrible sleep, even with ear plugs and us playing white noise through a speaker we could still hear and feel the bass. Appreciate it was a Saturday night and I think it was some sort of event, but there didn’t seem to be any consideration for guests staying at the hotel with rooms right above the bar area. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying the night before an early flight like we did or if you want to go to bed before 12. We had an economy room which was quite basic and a little tired. Also didn’t feel like the room has been done up properly as we didn’t have any toilet roll and although there was a kettle.. there was no coffee. Also there was no plug point on the dresser so would need to plug in the kettle in the bathroom or on the floor.
